Chapter Text
The night passed pretty quickly, in the blink of an eye, Philza awoke again. He was still pretty groggy from just waking up, but he was aware enough to realize that he no longer had the small weight of one of his kids sleeping on his chest.
Glancing over to the clock again.
6:30 AM
He never woke up this late! It was nice waking up at this time, but Phil had a mental schedule which he was now pretty behind on.
As he looked back to his side at the empty spot his son was no longer at, he mentally thought.
Fuck the schedule.
Finding Tommy was pretty quick, Phil would’ve thought the kid would’ve been in his room, but surprise, surprise… It came up empty, He’d double-checked all of upstairs (As well as his Twin’s rooms secretly in case their little brother went to them in the night) And nothing…
So he had to be downstairs.
Phil felt a little bit silly, once again. Because just as last time, the kid was in plain sight. Tommy was facing away from where Phil could see his face, but with his parental instincts, he could tell his kid was crying.
Plus, he could hear it.
So crying it was.
Phil was awake a lot more than before as he squatted down in his pajamas, the boy was hiding underneath the dining table. The chairs had been pushed out so that he had room. Yet he still looked so small, crying in the corner.
“Tom’s, Mate. What’s wrong? Still not feeling good?” He softly spoke, trying to coax his son to look at him.
It didn’t work, and his boy only sobbed harder, scratching his face slightly.
“Tommy, buddy. Can you look at me?” He pleaded. Tommy trusted his dad, so slowly, with his cow onesie hood still up, he faced his Dad.
His face looked so… Pale and so colorful at the same time, he didn’t even need to feel his son’s forehead to know he had a fever. Phil did what he usually did, he spread his arm’s out.
Tommy looked hesitant but quickly went into the hug.
“Your head is still hurting you, Big Man?”
The response was a shrug, so maybe the headache wasn’t as bad as he thought, but if the kid was crying, something was definitely bothering him. He noticed the way he kept scratching on top of the onesie. Trying to scratch his arms? Or the material? Was he allergic to it?
No, he couldn’t be. They’d done the tests. And he knew fur wasn’t on the list, besides cats of course…
Still, he wanted to be sure.
“Tommy, can I roll up your sleeves, please?” His kid sniffled and nodded, so Phil was quick to do so, his face turning in confusion as he saw some red marks. Did he get bit by a bug? Bugs? He thought as he saw more.
He carefully checked the other arm, which Tommy made a whiny noise about, as he was no longer able to scratch his other arm.
“Mate, can you unzip your onesie for me?” The child obliged and Phil sat shocked at the sight, they were everywhere.
Phil would’ve absolutely panicked that this was some sort of sickness from a poisoned cave spider, or a reaction to something until he looked closer.
There were tiny red bumps all over his skin.
Oh, thank God it wasn’t what he thought it was.
“Don’t worry, Tom’s. It’s okay.” Tommy sniffled, looking up at him, confused.
“It’s itchy…” He whined, moving his hands to scratch his skin. He whined painfully when he was stopped by Phil.
“Mate, you’re alright. I think you caught chickenpox from Puffy’s kid, we went over there a week ago and he had them.” Tommy whined.
“I’m gonna turn into a chicken?!” He gasped, beginning to get upset again.
All the fear that Philza had in that second had evaporated and was replaced by the urge not to laugh as his sick-worried child.
He almost considered saying yes but decided the poor kid suffered enough.
“Nah, don’t worry bud. You’ll just have spots for a few day’s, and then you’ll be all better.” He didn’t want to deal with the inevitable tantrum the blonde haired kid would throw when he’d tell him that he couldn’t touch his itchy skin, he waited until Techno and Wilbur would wake up first.
Since waking up to Tommy having a tantrum and having boys who couldn’t stand being woken up did not mix well at all.
Philza did what was a risky move and brought the already cranky Tommy, upstairs into his own bedroom. He put him gently on the bed, having to remind him every few minutes to not scratch. The man disappeared into Tommy’s room and returned with a pair of Red and White shorts.
Tommy got changed into them, it was clearly a lot comfier than the full-body onesie rubbing against his skin.
Phil tried to remember what he did when the Twins caught it when they were young, he didn’t have the best memory.
But he did remember a lot of cuddles and hugs and kisses.
Oh yeah, he remembered you could tape oven mitts to peoples arm’s to stop them scratching, but that was just a tantrum waiting to happen on It’s own.
For now, he picked his boy upon his hip and he continued to snuggle to Phil.
Time to make breakfast.
So, Phil was partially right about the whole think of Tommy not getting enough sleep, as the boy had drifted off pretty fast. Well, no putting the kid down now. And besides, with him right there, he could keep an eye out for if Tommy tried to secretly scratch.
Halfway through cooking, Phil heard the same sound as he heard everyday. This time at 7:45, had he been tidying for that long? Wow, time got away from him. He then realised that, wait. That sound was Techno and Wilbur. Who had rushed down the steps extremely fast.
His sons were absolutely oblivious until Wilbur did a double take at Tommy.
“Jesus Christ , is he alright?” That made Techno look up from his phone as his eye’s also widened, just like his brothers. Phil sighed a little.
“Yeah, he’ll be fine. This explains why he was being more clingy than usual, though.”
Techno winced a little, staring at his little brother's skin. “That looks really sore.” Phil hummed as he flipped a pancake, this time he didn’t drop any. And this time he wasn’t trying to show off, there was no Tommy to impress.
Because Tommy was asleep.
As the pan sizzled a little louder, he quietly asked his boys of one of them could carefully take Tommy from him. Since the sick kid was only in his underwear and shorts, and Phil was a little more than concerned about cooking something that could sizzle onto him, now that he didn’t have the usual protection of a thick layer of clothes.
Techno was the one this time to carefully slip his arms around his tiny brother's arms and legs, carrying him as carefully as the tall teen could.
For the most part, Tommy stayed sound asleep, but the three knew too well that a growing sick kid who hadn’t eaten much the previous day should probably not miss out on breakfast.
Because Wilbur and Phil didn’t have the heart to wake him, it was Techno who softly brushed his hands through his tiny-brothers hair. That was enough to get him to stirr, waking up a little groggy.
“Breakfast time, Theseus.” As he softly lifted his brother into the higher-chair next to him. Tommy was too much of a big man for high-chairs anymore, and the ‘adult’ chairs were still too big, so Phil had made one specifically for him.
Something Wilbur and Techno kept telling Phil that with how fast the gremlin grew, that he wouldn’t need it for no longer than a few months.
Tommy seemed to love it though, so Phil couldn’t care less.
As expected, not much of the food had been eaten again, and that honestly worried Phil. Sure it was only two days now, but what about when it was Three days? Or Four days? How long could a five year old go without eating proper nutritional meals. Especially now he was sick.
Wilbur and Techno weren’t as keen on going out as they were yesterday, Phil had a pretty good reason as to why. Phil decided that he’d make Tommy something else, something easy to eat later. For now, he could only sigh and tell his youngest that he did a good job for even eating as much as he did.
He held back the soft smile at his twins watching Tommy like a hawk, Wilbur annoying Tommy by constantly telling him to not scratch. And Techno sitting near him and repetitively pulling the child’s arm away every time he went to itch.
When Techno went into the kitchen and returned with Oven Mittens and Duck tape, Phil could only wince as he pictured what was about to go down.
So Tommy was crying with his hands heavily duct taped, no fingers insight. Techno looked victorious whilst Wilbur glared at him, holding his crying-brother close.
Wilbur looked a bit annoyed at the laughter that came from Techno’s mouth as he watched the 5 year old pathetically attempt to scratch to no avail. Techno’s laughter died down as he pitifully stared at the sad sight below him.
“You look so pitiful right now.”
“You trapped me! Now my hands are gonna melt, and It’s all your fault. ” He moaned, pathetically trying to figure out some way to get around this. But for now, all he could do was whine into Wilburs side, muttering how mean Techno was.
“I warned you, Theseus. You only have yourself to blame.”
Theseus turned away from Techno, now keen on staying with the brother who hadn’t completely betrayed his trust. Phil only snickered at the equally-betrayed face on Techno, who would have thought his little brother would’ve gone back to Phil and not his twin brother.
“Does this mean he’ll have a bath in cereal?” Wilbur questioned.
Huh?
“Pfft, nah mate. Oatmeal, not cereal.”
“Philza, I love you and I’ll eat a lot of things, but I’m not eating Tommy-Flavoured oatmeal.” Techno muttered.
Phil had to cover his mouth to stop how loud he was going to laugh.
“Oh trust me, I’m not eating it either. Did you really think that we’d use this?” He questioned disbelievingly.
Techno could only shrug, as if he was unsure. But yeah, he fully believed Philza wouldn’t do something like that.
Phil stood up and walked over to where his boys were, Tommy seemingly taking notice pretty fast, putting his arms up again. He’d rather be with the person who didn’t notice every time he scratched.
Also maybe Phil would take those stupid mittens off.
Phil did not take the mittens off.
For fifteen minutes, until his son looked far too pitiful for him to handle. He heard Techno muttering about all his hard work, destroyed. Phil scoffed softly, all he did was get Wilbur to hold Tommy’s hands as Techno speedily covered them in duck-tape and gloves.
What he’d learned so far by this morning was that Tommy did not want to be put down, even for a few minutes. Which could make stuff a little difficult. Especially when he was handling fragile stuff such as glass. He thanked his eldest boys who seemed pretty keen on not leaving.
He was 90% they only wanted to stay because of how clingy Tommy was being, and they knew that it didn’t happen as often as when the child was younger.
Oh yeah, they were also concerned. Because one, it looked very painful. Two, Phil was too busy to keep constant eyes on his son while holding him, and finally… Yeah, they noticed the toddler itching which, they pleasantly reminded Phil multiple times.
Techno kept suggesting the duck tape, which only made the 5 year old whine harder than before at.
Phil had noticed that Tommy had felt a little warm, but a light fever was common with the illness. So he put his boy on the floor, which Techno and Wilbur instantly fought over who got to hold him.
Tommy frankly, did not want either of them to pick him up. He wanted his Dad to hold him, thank you very much. So he just stood by the blonde haired man's legs as his brothers squabbled, trying to convince Tommy to go to them.
Tommy ended up picking, and it was Techno. After he promised not to duck-tape him again.
“No fair! I never duck taped you in the first place.” Wilbur whined, that was so unfair.
“Well yeah, but I only did it because I know it’ll hurt a Hell of a lot more if he got an infection or something. Besides, you were the one to restrain a toddler.”
“You made me-”
“Excuses, excuses. See Tommy? You picked the right choice.” Phil could only sigh exasperatedly hearing his eldest Twin. Try explain to a five year old how he made the correct choice of hugging him.
Phil went into the other room to grab one of the thermometers, they had a few different types. One for Ears, one for under the tongue, under the arm… The one he was most thankful for, however… Were the little strips you could put on their forehead. Perfect for when the Gremlin would finally fall asleep.
Because if he woke up, you would have a Hell of a time trying to get him to go back down again.
What he didn’t know was that he couldn’t hear what his Twin’s were saying in the other room.
“How long do you think before Tommy turns into a chicken?” Wilbur asked TechnoBlade, sounding far too serious for the child’s liking.
“With how he looks right now…?” He paused to make sure the child was listening.
“I’d say he only has an hour before he starts growing red feathers.”
The child quietly gasped, an hour wasn’t very long at all.
“But… Phil said ‘m not gonna turn into a chicken!”
“I guess that was for all the times you sneaked off to the Chicken pen, now you’re gonna turn into one!” Wilbur stated, his voice sounded way too real for it to be fake. And he didn’t like it.
Techno and Wilbur realised maybe a little too late, that telling a sick child with red spots that he’d grow red feathers and turning into a chicken when they heard the sniffling from their baby brother.
“B-But I don’t wanna turn into a chicken!” The child sobbed. Yeah, maybe a little far. The brothers felt really guilty, it was funny sometimes to make your sibling cry… But not always, this was one of those times where it wasn’t funny.
Also, by the way the toddler had already left, they were kinda screwed.
Welp, there goes the clingy-brother that they had both desperately fought for.
Phil turned around really fast at the sound of crying
“Awe, Tom’s… Mate, what’s wrong?” Did his kid miss him that much? He was only in the other room for a few minutes.
“W-Wilbur and Tech t-told me I was gonna go turn into a chi-icken! I don’t w-wanna! You told me I wouldn’t!” The child sobbed harder.
Jesus Christ.
Phil was quick to sooth his son, picking him up, not minding the way the toddler's legs wrapped around him like some sort of koala. “Hey, shh. Shh, shh. It’s alright, Mate. They were just teasing you, I promise you. You won’t turn into a chicken, okay?”
He used his free hand to run his hands through the blonde hair, which the kid leaned into.
Hey, at least it was the perfect chance to take the kids' temperature. He used the hand he was using to run his hand through the kids hair, and moved it to where he was putting the back of his hand onto the small forehead.
Well, there was definitely a fever. Not a bad one, at least. The thermometer would give better results than him guessing though, the child knew the drill. Not fighting as much as he had the previous times, accepting the cold device in his mouth.
It was a little tricky since the kid was still upset, so Phil had to hold it in place with his free-hand.
Oh he was going to have a talk with Techno and Wilbur, right after he saw the numbers, of course.
It had finally beeped, which the child knew meant he was done. The kid was quick to try and get the offending object out of his mouth .
The small device read
102.4
Alrighty, not quite a low-grade fever after all. It wasn’t the worst, so Philza could quite easily bring it down with a bit of care, and if Tommy actually accepted the treatment. He knew that the kid's body was tricking him, and nobody really liked ice packs when their body was already making them feel like they’d fallen into an icy lake.
Tommy was no longer crying as hard as he had been previously, which the man was thankful for. But now he’d checked the temperature, he could treat it. But first, he was going to his older sons.
“Boys…”
He was using the disappointed Dad tone, which seemed to be effective at the way both of his twins sheepishly turned to him.
“Okay before you blame me this was entirely Wilbur’s fault-”
“WHAT.”
“He was the one who started this cruel, cruel joke on the sickly-dying toddler.”
“He's not dying.” Phil scolded at the way the Toddler tensed again.
“Okay but- Like I said, Wilbur’s fault, not mine.”
“You went along with it! You’re just as guilty as me!”
“Boys!” He glared at both of them. “Wilbur, you’re right. You’re both to blame, please don’t tease your brother. Tease him when he’s not sick?” Hey, at least they could tease him when he’s better.
“Yes, Dad.” They both replied. Phil softened after hearing the legitimate guilt, he could tell when they weren’t being sincere. This was one of the times that they were .
Tommy wanted to stay with Phil, and the man knew that the child would stay with him all day if he could, but he did have to put the kid down again, it would only be for a little bit. Philza was going to go find out what food would be best for chicken pox. Or at least, best for someone with no appetite.
They couldn’t have Tommy rotting away, after all.
The child seemed insistent on being clingy with the both of them, which the older boys didn’t seem to mind too much.
It didn’t take too long until the small kid began to slowly fall asleep, his brothers slowly realising that they had been pinned by a sleeping toddler. It was the same as when a cat fell asleep on you, you do not move for the life of you.
They were there for a few hours, quietly watching their favourite films and chatting amongst themselves. Phil had snuck in, quietly laughed and taken multiple pictures, even bringing them their lunch. Phil had put the youngests food to the side. Knowing that even if they woke him, the kid probably wasn’t too keen on eating.
Eventually, the small boy woke up. And unfortunately, for Phil, no matter how much had tried to stop it, Tommy had ended up cutting his skin from where he’d been trying to stop the extremely uncomfortable feeling.
The Gremlin seems to have felt guilty enough, so Phil couldn’t bring himself to scold the boy. He knew it was probably insanely unpleasant. And he was really thankful that Techno and Wilbur were too young to have remembered what the feeling was with them.
He could only watch as his sons helped put a colorful plaster on the bleeding cut.
Phil felt pretty hopeless, his boy certainly wasn’t eating enough, and he was clearly in discomfort. Maybe it was time for that oatmeal bath.
He didn’t actually know much about how to run a bath like that, but the internet would save him. First, he decided to actually run the bath. He was fairly sure that you didn’t put the oatmeal in before the water, but if he messed up, nothing bad could really happen as the oatmeal would get wet regardless.
As Phil went upstairs into the small bathroom, he put the plug in the bathtub and began running in the lukewarm water. Since it was coming in at a slow pace, the man had enough time to go downstairs and grab his phone.
It told him that he needed to blend the oatmeal. And Phil realised that he hadn’t checked if they still had any in the first place, he honestly hoped that he did.
As he looked through all the shelves and cabinets, he frowned. He really couldn’t find anything. Until he thought to check the bowls and plates cabinet. Right at the back, two unopened boxes. Perfect.
He was sure they were still in date, but even if they weren’t… It was just oatmeal, and it wasn’t like anyone was going to be eating it. As he read what online said, he poured the oatmeal into the blender, making sure not to add water. Which he almost did and messed upon. He also almost forgot to put the lid on before pressing the button, but Wilbur was observant and quick to point out the almost-fatal error that the man would’ve made.
The website was very instant to blend it as much as possible, until it was powdery. If it was chunky than it would leave a mess at the bottom of the bathtub. He was told to test it by putting a few drops of water onto the powder with a tea-spoon.
It said to wait until the powder turned ‘milky’. So he did, continuing to blend it until Philza had finally finished making the perfect amount. Now all he had to do was put it in the bath, right after he put his son in it, of course.
Oh Tommy would not like that at all, especially since the boy wasn’t physically, ‘dirty’.
Well, there was always bribery if anything went south.
Convincing Tommy was actually far easier than Phil had possibly expected. He internally thanked TechnoBlade and Wilbur for hyping it up as much as they did. And how ‘jealous’ they were.
Especially when they offered to have the bath instead, the reverse psychology worked charms. Phil would be lying if he said he didn’t struggle a bit trying to keep up with the sudden burst of energy the previously-exhausted child acquired.
Techno and Wilbur chuckled at their brother's antics as they used this time wisely, watching a teen-rated show that they usually couldn’t watch around Tommy.
They silently wished Dadza luck.
Tommy was very confused as to why his dad was holding a container which looked very much like drugs.
“Why do you have drugs?” The kid questioned, unknowingly.
Phil stuttered as he spoke, at the absurdity. “Wh- It’s oatmeal! You heard me tell you it was an oatmeal bath, why would you think it’s drugs?” He questioned, truly wanting to know the thought process that was going on inside the five year old’s mind.
The child, of course. Being 5 years old, didn’t have a reasoning. He just, ‘thought he should say it’.
The kid looked a little disappointed that the bath wasn’t covered in bubbles like it typically was, but Phil was quick to reassure. “Trust me, Mate. This is gonna feel so good and stop all that yucky itching, yeah?”
The kid nodded, he liked the sound of that.
“Great! Watch this.” As he began pouring the diy-oatmeal powder into the bathtub. The child gasped in awe as it did what it was meant to do, and spread out across the bath. Phil hoped that he had enough for it to actually have an effect, even if he hadn’t made enough, he could always make more.
The kid was pretty eager to get in, so Phil allowed him.
Yup, it was definitely working as the child looked a lot less like he was in painful discomfort. He still looked a little pained, but he was sick. So even if he didn’t have chicken pox, he was bound to look like that a bit anyway.
Phil made sure that there were no clumps in the water, smiling as his tiny kid giggled from the completely outrageous idea of putting food into a bathtub! Phil ended up using the plastic container to scoop some of the oatmeal-y water onto his son's back. Smiling the whole time as Tommy babbled about some story he’d made up with his rubber ducks.
Tommy wanted to stay in that heavenly-feeling bath forever.
But Phil knew that he couldn’t, and as much as he wanted to let his son stay in there for a little while longer, you could only lay in a bath of grounded oatmeal for so long. Tommy got a little bit upset as the newly-acquired colorful plaster began to fall off from the water. Looking at his Dad as if the man would magically make it stick to him again.
“Don’t worry, Mate. I’ll get you another one in a bit, yeah?” The kid nodded, scratching his face softly.
“Ah, ah, ah! Tom’s, Mate. I told you, you can’t be scratching okay? Otherwise the same thing’s going to happen that happened to your arm. And you don’t want that again, huh?” Phil didn’t want that.
If Tommy’s cuts got infected, he wouldn’t know what to do with himself. He already felt guilty enough about the other night. Sending the kid who was already feeling unwell, back to his room.
He should have known something was wrong.
Phil splashing his face with some of the water brought him back to reality. Phil smirked, using his much-larger hands to flick some of the pale-ish water in the kids face. Chuckling at the most offended face a kid could make.
“Hey, you splashed me first you little Gremlin. You know fully damn well that you had that coming.”
The child disgruntledly agreed.
Phil decided to give Tommy the pink towel. It was Techno’s, of course. But Phil would wash it that night anyway. And besides, he was sure none of his sons wouldn’t mind too much.
His kid looked so small in the towel, obviously. It was made for adult sizes, so it practically dragged on the floor. Phil leaned into the bath to pull the plug, Tommy giggling as he watched all of the oatmeal slowly sink down into the drain.
“Alright polka-dots, go put on some light clothes okay?”
“... Like white clothes?” The boy questioned innocently.
“No- I mean… Something that isn’t too…” Describing types of fabrics to a child was a lot harder than he thought. “Thick? Go for something light- I mean… Go get some underwear and your red shorts. There’s some clean ones in your top dresser drawer, yeah? You can grab the red and white tank top in the bottom left if you feel cold, okay?”
He made sure that his son was paying attention.
“Good, nothing much more than that, alright Tom’s? You still have a fever, so you can’t be wearing fluffy clothes, as much as you want too. Plus It’ll make you all itchy again, and you don’t want that, do you?”
The child made a face of consideration before nodding and shouting “Okay!” as he waddled into his room, still drowning in the pink towel.
Phil chuckled as he heard the sound of various different clothing being messed around.
Tommy was all dressed and ready for dinner, Phil had made him promise that he would try and eat a bit more food than before. The child didn’t know how well he’d be able to go through with the promise… But he would try for Dadza.
Phil was currently downstairs, making the finishing touches for tonight’s dinner. Even though Tommy felt so sick, that he couldn’t dare even think of eating a bite… It did smell pretty good. So he would maybe, possibly take a bite of some of it.
But he wouldn’t tell Phil that.
Wilbur had left his room which he had somehow sneaked off to in the time that Tommy was in the bath. Seeing his little brother standing in the hallway, wearing red and white shorts with a matching red and white tank top… He couldn’t help but awe as he swooped the child up.
Who let out a startled sound of suddenly being very-very high.
The kid calmed down a bit seeing his big brother, still being on edge slightly though… “Wilba! You scared me, stop being mean.”
“I’m not being mean!” Wilbur critisized. As a big brother, he knew exactly how to be mean. And he would say that if this was considered mean, he wondered what would happen if he did something actually bad.
He didn’t dwell on it too much, just happy that he could cuddle with his brother.
It may sound a little selfish, but he was pretty sure that everyone was a teeny-tiny bit happy that Tommy was sick. One, was now that they didn’t have to worry about the risk of him getting it when he was older, because that would’ve been far worse. Two, they had to quarentine him. Which meant Wilbur could look after him, all by himself.
(Techno and Phil begged to differ.)
The child found it so strange as Wilbur carried him down the large stairs, he’d never been this high up. Because Phil was really short, and he didn’t let Techno pick him up much. Though he didn’t really think Techno would do that anyway.
“You like being as tall as a sky-scraper Tom’s? It’s much better than being carried by the short people.” TechnoBlades head snapped towards his younger twin. And WIlbur realised that may have not been the perfect choice of words.
“Hey! I’m average height, thank you very much Beanstalk.” Phil retorted from the kitchen.
“You aren’t denying that I’m tall though! Are you?”
“Of course I’m not! You grow every other day, It’s ridiculous!” The man replied, no venom in the statement.
“Just you wait, in two months Tommy’s gonna be your height!”
Techno replied, “I honestly don’t doubt that. The kid’s already over average height for his age.”
“Yet we still call him small.”
The small child did not like being called small, nor being called a child.
“You guys are all mean. ” The kid mumbled, still enjoying his heigh view from Wilbur.
“Yeah, yeah Gremlin. Just admit that you like being as cool as me.” The older brother responded, posing while supporting his little brother with his right arm.
“You are such a damn nerd .” Techno stated, Wilbur scoffed.
“Says the one who does homework while eating dinner!”
Phil sighed as he knew that an argument was likely going to break out between the boys soon.
“At least I do my homework! You just blame it on Tommy, saying he ate it or some bullshit!”
“Techno!” Phil scolded, turning to his eldest Twin. He didn’t want Tommy repeating anything else. But he knew it was too late now, whether he liked it or not… That word would now be in Tommy’s vocabulary.
“I only said that once . And anyway, now I say he destroys it, and he genuinely does! He destroys me so I can’t work. So therefore. He destroys my homework.” The kid gently punched Wilburs chest. With no real strength to be able to cause any harm or effect.
“Well you destroy my lego castles everytime you come in with your big smelly feet!” Tommy attempted to wiggle out of his brother’s grasp. Getting a bit restless, a sign of the toddler wanting to be put down.
“That was one time, Tommy!” Wilbur gasped, clearly getting exhausted with everyone snapping at him. Still, he didn’t put his brother down. They may be fighting, but Wilbur was probably just as clingy as the child himself.
“Mm… Put me down!” The child wiggled, trying to leave the grasp.
“Will, put your brother down please.” He knew that the child would be 100% willing to jump if he had to, and he would really not like the kid to attempt that half way down the stairs. Wilbur sighed, going down the remaining steps and placing his little brother down.
He felt absolutely completely betrayed by Tommy when the little Gremlin went upto Technoblade instead of him. He felt even more betrayed when Techno picked him up.
“That’s not fair.” The Teenager pouted. That pout grew deeper as his brothers decided to both stick their tongues out at him.
“Alright, alright. Everyone, quit teasing each other. Now come sit at the table, by this rate the food would have already rotted with how slow you lot are going.”
“Can we sit on the couch instead?” Techno questioned, bouncing Tommy slightly on his leg, to try and hint. Phil was sure that Techno wanted to eat there more than the child himself.
Phil smiled lightly, “Yeah, but I will actually slay you lot with my sword if you destroy the couch.”
Wilbur gasped in false-shock. “Wow, ouch Philza. I see the couch is more important than our lives, typical Philza.” As he shook his head, faking disappointment at his father.
Phil chuckled, grabbing the plates he’d prepared as Techno sat down on the couch, with the small child still in his arms. Tommy giggled as he saw Techno slap Wilburs hand away, who had been attempting to steal the child.
Placing the food carefully on the coffee table.
It was pretty clear who’s meal was for who. One plate looked very suspicious amongst the others, and by that, meaning that everything on it was different.
The Twins could only guess who that was for.
The other three had the exact same things on their plate, cooked sausages, peas a bit of ketchup and some chips.
The child had sliced up bananas, an orange, some apple slices and a Chocolate chip cookie (As a treat)
The boys didn’t comment on it as they began to eat their food, Wilbur quietly offering some of his to the child as his brother and Dad had a conversation. Even when Techno and Wilbur had finished and returned to their rooms, the child was still trying to eat.
“You good, Mate?” He questioned his boy.
The boy, in question, nodded to his Dad. Slowly trying to eat another slice of the orange. Not looking too pleased about it.
“You don’t have to force yourself to eat it all, mate. You’ve done really good, yeah? If you can’t, you can’t. Simple as that.” The kid didn’t seem to believe that he’d done well.
Meanwhile Phil was really worried, Tommy hadn’t even touched the cookie. Which he was absolutely sure the kid would have liked. He decided it would be better to actually ask the kid what he wanted, instead of making it for him.
He knew about the strict diets that children with Chicken Pox had to have because of how much it weakened the person, but if the kid wanted something a little unhealthy, that would be fine as long as he was eating something.
“Anything that you wanna eat that isn’t this then, Mate?” He spoke in a soft voice, to let him know that he wasn’t upset at him. His child had assumed that before, so Phil was always sure to reassure his boys.
Tommy shook his head “‘M not hungry…” As he tried to eat another piece of sliced-banana.
“That’s okay bud. You did great and I’m proud of you.” As he opened his arms, the man fell back slightly from the sudden child who practically fell onto his Dad. Phil just accepted it and ruffled the blonde curls on top of him.
“You wanna do something fun?” Phil asked, he knew the kid had been bored, and how unhappy he was when he’d been told that he couldn’t go out to town or see his friends for a while.
That brightened the boy's mood as he quickly nodded.
“Want to see if Wilbur and Techno are up for a quick game…?” Which game? Who knows, they’d decide it after his boys said yes. He knew them too well, that they wouldn’t be able to deny the man, nor the 5 year old.
Phil decided that he would be carrying Tommy, which was a little funny to him. Because when he really thought about it, the kid had spent more time in someone's arms than on the actual floor.
Nobody minded though.
Phil decided to knock on Technos door first, only because it was the closest. The Eldest Twin opened the door, looking a little worried when he saw them both outside. Thinking something had happened, he relaxed after Phil had spoken.
“Want to join us for some games?” He asked. He wouldn’t be upset if his Twin’s didn’t join, Tommy might be a little sad though.
“Eh, yeah sure. Why not?” As the two blondes claimed another victim! The three walked down to Wilburs room, Tommy reaching out with his tiny hands and knocking on the door.
Wilbur seemed to instantly recognise the pattern that the kid usually did, and speedily opened the door. He looked a little disappointed when he saw that Tommy wasn’t alone, but he too looked a little worried when he saw all his family members outside.
He hoped that they weren’t going somewhere, like the Hospital…
“Hey, nerd. Join us, we’re gonna play some games.” Techno informed in a chill tone.
“Yeah, okay! What are we playing?” Techno shrugged, he didn’t know. He’d just followed the two, no questions asked.
“I was thinking we play some board games in Tommy’s room, his floor has the most space, after all.” Ah yes, the Twin’s didn’t need to be reminded. Phil remembered how jealous they had been when they were younger.
Phil had been decorating two new rooms, and at that time the Twins were sharing one bedroom. So they both desperately wanted the larger one. Needless to say, the younger Twins were deeply disappointed when a baby ended up having the room.
That baby was Tommy, and they thought it was silly that a child had that much space. But when the kid grew, they both decided that the kid probably needed the space with how often he ran around, the kid could move fast for a Toddler.
As the four of them sat down, Phil leaned over to the shelf that was full of games. He wanted to do something that was completely fair, and hopefully one where you couldn’t betray one another. Because that normally ended wonderfully…
It had been a long hour of the four of them playing Uno, which Phil was quick to discover that you could betray people. So the rounds had come to a close, and with them all still in the competitive mood, they went onto the another game.
They decided on playing operation next, a game that requires precision and angling. And whilst they were taking turns, they had also set up a game of jenga at the same time. It was a silly idea, but it was funny to see both games making everyone use complete concentration.
The fun was beginning to come to a stop as Wilbur had spent so long on his go at Jenga, knowing that ultimately, there was no possible way to save the tower. It had taken him seven minutes of denial to continue, which was just enough time for Techno to notice that Tommy had fallen asleep next to him after being quiet for so long.
Techno started laughing quietly, which Wilbur thought was directed at him, before the elder twin pointed to the sleeping child who was lightly leaning on him.
“And here you say that you don’t take a long time, this is why we don’t play monopoly, Wilbur. ” Oh they had tried, many many times. And Monopoly is a long game even if you make your moves quickly, so playing it became impossible.
Phil awe’d at the sight. Tommy had completely knocked himself out from the time they had spent playing together. He moved from his spot of laying on the ground and quietly scooped the boy up, completely sound asleep.
Wilbur and Techno still weren’t done with their competitive game, so Phil allowed them to finish with the promise that they wouldn’t wake Tommy up. They promised, they knew the consequences or whatever. Phil returned to his bedroom, smiling as his boys played.
Wilbur, in the end, was victorious.
Which Techno thought was completely unfair, of course the person who spends multiple minutes per round would do better than the person doing it quicker. But his twin didn’t want to hear it, stating that he was simply better.
As the brothers began to quietly put the board games away, ignoring the fact they’d managed to lose some of the pieces somewhere amongst the bedroom, they glanced back at their little brother, alone by himself in the bed.
Okay, they wanted to stay with him.
And I mean, they were already here and not in their bedrooms, plus it was a decent time to go to sleep… Sooo....
The first thing that Philza did when he groggily awoke that morning, was swing his feet off the side of the bed and head to the bedrooms to go check on his youngest son.
The absent sound of Snoring alarmed him much more than anything else, not even the snores of Techno And Wilbur were heard as he sped up his journey through the hallway.
All traces of fear and panic slowly eased away as he heard a sign of something from Tommy’s room.
As the door slowly and quietly creaked open, Phil’s expression softened. Forgetting about whatever fears he had just only a moment ago.
Wilbur and Techno had protectively wrapped their arms around their baby brother, who was softly snoring in the middle.
A few new red spots were visible, which was expected. Philza had only discovered the spots yesterday. And even then, the kid could’ve had one or two the day before that with how he had been acting.
Phil expected to see a lot of new ones throughout the day. Which could only mean that the child would only be a bit more miserable, but with his family right there with him, it was manageable.
Techno seemed to sense that someone was staring eyes into his head as he sleepily blinked his eyes open, trying to adjust them from the light that was daytime. He looked a little bit spooked and startled at seeing Phil standing at the end of the bed, but calmed down when he realised that the man had just come to check up on Tommy.
Techno smiled as he glanced down, his twin was the opposite of him, snoring loudly. As was Tommy, although it was slightly quieter. A sign that the kid was probably going to wake up soon.
That was when the oldest twin realised that, as cute as this was… He kind of wanted to get up, stretch his legs and go to the bathroom. He silently looked to his dad for advice. Who chuckled and shrugged, almost leaving the room just to see his son's silent reaction.
But, even he didn’t have the heart to betray his son like that. He quietly motioned for Techno to get up, it wasn’t too early anyway. It was a decent time for them to all be up. So as the brother attempted to slip out of the hug that he went into, he’d managed to free his arms. Using them to push himself away from his brothers.
Surprisingly, Wilbur woke up before Tommy did. As he blinked his eyes at TechnoBlade. Both of the twins were up, and in understanding that they wanted their baby brother to stay asleep. So Wilbur decided to attempt the same thing, though he was far more uncoordinated.
Though, he still managed to escape without waking the blonde-haired child up. So with both twins awake, Phil had no reason to let his sick son sleep for just a little while longer…
It turns out that the boys are a lot louder when they want something, and the thing they wanted was to wake their brother it seems. Phil knew that they were intentionally doing it, but he didn’t have much proof besides that.
He could only remind them that Tommy would be better quicker if he could rest.
His sons only shrugged, “I mean Chicken Pox lasts a week. So even if he slept for 20 hours he’d still look like a connect the dot page.” Techno helpfully mumbled as he tried to solve the jigsaw puzzle that Phil had put in front of him in an attempt to keep the both of them quiet.
It worked. For about 5 minutes when they realised that there were no corner pieces. A part of the April fools pranks. Which backfired, because nobody wanted to make puzzles on a day about pranking. It got noticed a month later, and by then… The boys had forgotten where they hid the corner pieces.
So many sets and sets of puzzles had no ends. (Or edges)
Philza had expected the twins to say something about using the bathroom or something to sneak upstairs, to which Phil had pointed at the perfectly working downstairs one. The boys sighed, as there was truly no excuse besides getting changed.
The boys were a little pissed when they found out that Philza was the one to go and finally wake up Tommy. The little gremlin instantly hugged his dad when he woke. Happy to wake up to his favourite dad in the whole wide world while he was in his bed!
Tommy would be staying in his bed for most of the day.
The only exceptions being the multiple trips to the bathroom. He was fine, of course. Just really tired. Which worried Techno and Wilbur a bit. You don’t get tired by doing nothing, especially as an energetic five year old.
Wilbur and Techno decided to spend the first few hours of the day just chilling with their brother, playing with toys, talking and telling stories…
But that could only last so long, as Techno and Wilbur had decided to go out to town, leaving the house empty with only Phil and Tommy being at home.
Tommy despised it. He wanted to eagerly to join them.
“Mate, you can join them. Once your little polka-dots start to go away, and I don’t see any new ones. It wouldn’t be good if you got the whole town sick, would it?”
“I wanna go outside!” The toddler whined.
Phil thought, he certainly wouldn’t be letting the child go near any children. It was far too stupid of an idea to do that. It would be good for other children to catch it young, rather than when they were adults. But it was more of a principle of the thing, regardless. Getting other people sick was a dick move.
So that’s when Phil came up with the idea. He would let Tommy go outside, if he went with him. They wouldn’t be going to any towns or seeing any people, merely just a stroll through the forest.
The child was ecstatic.
Phil decided not to tell him that they could only go if his fever dropped.
The fever did drop by a big amount. Definitely still a fever, but not one where they were in any actual danger.
So that’s how Phil ended up buttoning the small red jacket his son was wearing. He mentally noted to apologise for not telling Techno and Wilbur that they were leaving, but hopefully they would cross paths while walking through the large forest.
He knew his kids had the other key, so it would be fine.
“Put on your boots, Toms.” He motioned to the five year old, showing him where his little ducky-rain boots were.
It wasn’t raining, or muddy at all. But the kid insisted on wearing them after the kid had developed a small duck-obsession after seeing his older brother's small fluffy duck plushie.
Philza hadn’t really known why he had told the kid to put on his boots, as he knew fully damn well that he would be carrying the child for most of the way, anyway.
It was worth it, seeing the smile on the kid's face as he was allowed outside again. Three days was a long time for a child, alright? It’s like when you wait for your parents to wake up on Christmas because you’re the first one up.
The man was pretty hesitant on putting the kid down too much, only when he got really restless. As expected, the first thing a kid would do was…
Run
Not run away, but run in the general area, sprinting and jumping over non-existent obstacles… Just the pureness that came with having a chaotic little 5 year old.
Philza was ever so careful though, it was a little dramatic how he lifted up his boy if there was even a slight bit of danger. Heck, Tommy was the danger, kids will cause so much chaos. So in a way, he was protecting the forest.
He smiled as the kid handed him the cool looking rocks he found, he’d be sure to put them on the shelf with the over beautiful belongings the child gave him.
Eventually, be it the fever, or the constant running… Tommy had tired himself out, deep into the forest. Phil had expected this at some point, so he had no issue with picking the child up to help him travel back to the house.
The walk was nice and chilly, Tommy was in enough clothing that it wouldn’t be worrying if some cold air got to him. Still, he bundled the kid closer too him. Even if he did whine that it was too warm.
As they watched the scenery as the walked, they both found themselves enjoying the peace and quiet that came from it being just the two of them.
The kid, even though he was a little cranky… Still pointed out the many squirrels that scattered about each time the man snapped a twig with his shoes.
The house came into view and Phil was finally glad to be back home, he enjoyed the walk of course. He’d just prefer being able to keep his son in the warmth.
As he pushed on the door, he paused. Was his door a Pull? No.
He pulled down the handle and tried pushing the door, nothing.
Well, Shit.
Front door, Back door, Bunker door…
All Locked.
Phil felt like he’d been locked out forever.
He knew in reality it had only been fourteen minutes, but fourteen whole minutes of having a restless-sick child in your hands, tended to make you a bit more fidgety and anxious.
He knew his boys had taken the spare keys to the door with them, which meant that when they got back they would be able to let Phil and Tommy in.
But the thing is, he was quite a bit… Unsure as to where his sons were off to. He knew they were shopping, but not the shops they were at exactly.
This made him remind himself to ask his sons exactly where they went next time they decided to go out.
Phil had tried to do the smart thing and ring them, but their phones seemed to either be dead or not getting any connection. And judging by how he far outside of his house, standing in a corner to protect himself from the wind… He’d say it was the internets fault.
Tommy whined in his arms, pulling at the fluffy coat he slipped into. Letting out a small whine as Phil pulled his arms from it, it wasn’t nice! He didn’t want to be practically melting.
“Ah, Ah, Ah. Sorry mate, I know you’re hot. But It’s getting really windy. And I don’t want you to get sicker.” He knew of the complications that this stupid disease could bring.
Phil had to decide between going out into town, where he would be out in the windy-open air, where he wouldn’t be protected by the sturdy-tall house. Or just staying here.
If he stayed here, he would be able to warm his kid up as soon as the door opened.
But on the other hand.
Finding Wilbur and Techno meant that they would open the door quicker.
He had 0 clue as to how long his boys would take, but was he willing to risk his sons health for finding them just to get in a few minutes earlier?
Tommy was already sick anyways, as the man set off towards the village. They could be on any side of it, Hell they mentioned going to the ones near the school before, and that was a long 15 minute walk away.
He kept checking for any sign of signal as he walked. The walk to the village would take a few minutes, and in those few minutes he knew that there were no signal towers. But it was worth it to try, considering how their lovely home was dead in the middle of a forrest.
As Phil approached he glanced around for his two Twins, not seeing them insight. Right, they were going shopping after all, any shop. Any out of the hundreds in the town.
Philza tried to ignore the fidgeting in his arms until Tommy started mumbling and pointing towards a tiny shop. Foam skulls like the ones Techno bought, proudly displayed into the window.
It was worth a shot.
The shopkeeper looked up, hearing the old fashioned bell ring as the door creaked open. The elderly woman's face frowned a little seeing the boy.
“How may I help you, sir?” She questioned, hoping it wasn’t about the boy.
“Have you seen two teenagers here today? Pretty tall, look like twins, probably wearing yellow and pink?” Her face lit up in recognition.
“Ah yes! Billiam and William! They were in here just a little while ago, they said they were headed to the bakery.” Nodding as she spoke.
Phil internally laughed at the name the women had given his boys, being sure to use it later.
“You should probably get that child home, He looks far too poorly to be out in weather like this.” Tutting at the visible red spots on the kids forehead.
“I’m sorry, Ma’am. I got locked out while taking him for a walk. My boys have the spare keys, so I’m trying to look for them.”
She nodded in understanding. “Make sure to use plenty of calamine lotion.” She pointed out.
The man nodded, saying that he would make sure. As he left to look for his twins.
Phil respectfully tried to ignore the many many gross looks he was getting. He didn’t mind them being directed at him, but not at his son. His kid couldn’t help it, and neither could Phil for not making sure the latch was on.
He was glad the kid had managed to fall asleep throughout this. The cozy air from the previous shop must have knocked him out.
The woman was right as Techno and Wilbur emerged from the bakery, white bags with the logo slapped onto it being clear in their hands.
They hadn’t noticed Phil until the man put his arm up and waved slightly, not shouting as to not wake the kid. Philza did a bad job of not worrying them, as they both instantly began speed walking over to him.
“Is he okay?!” They both questioned, when Phil’s brain clicked. Ah yes, leaving to find your sons with a flushed sleeping child, was not a good look.
“He will be, We got locked out for half an hour and you boys have the only set of spare keys. You can keep shopping, I just really need to get him inside. I’ll leave the door unlocked.” Phil was such an idiot. This was so stupid, this was his fault.
“Yeah, we’re not going to keep shopping after you scare us like that. ” Techno sarcastically butted in, not too pleased with how his heart had started racing. With the way the kid looked, Techno would’ve thought he was dead for a moment.
And so did Wilbur, apparently as the way he went to slip his hands around his sleeping brother to give his dad a break from carrying him.
Phil did not want to have a break from carrying him.
As the group of them stepped back through the forest, both of the boys phones began blowing up. With sounds of notifications and text messages.
“Is that why you didn’t answer me when I called?” The boys pulled out their phones, Wilbur doing it one handed.
Every sound was all the messages and missed calls from Phil coming in at once, huh. At Least they knew they had internet again.
Techno glanced at some of the messages that Phil had typed when panicking.
18:21 Birdza: mate when are you back
18:21 Birdza: do you have the keys
18:24 Birdza: tech mate you there?
18:27 Birdza: where are u
18:32 Birdza: when are u coming back mate
7 MISSED CALLS FROM ‘BIRDZA’
Techno grimaced, and judging by the expression his twin made, Wilbur got sent something similar.
“Sorry Dad” they mumbled.
“Don’t apologise, It’s not you boys fault for not having any wifi connection. Besides, It’s mine. I was the one who forgot the keys.” Glancing down at the dirt in front of him as he kept walking.
“Don’t beat yourself up about it, Could’ve happened to any of us.” Techno cut in, this very well would have happened if Techno and Wilbur tried to do the same thing.
Wilbur let out an, ‘aww’ sound, which caused Phil and Techno to look at him. They smiled at the sight.
Tommy had sleepily changed his grip on Wil as the walking had commenced, what the two had looked over to see was Tommy still asleep, resting his head on Wilburs shoulder with his legs wrapped around his big brother's waist.
That was adorable, Wilbur blushed a little in embarrassment as the loud sound of a photo being taken rang out from Technos phone.
Oh well, it was adorable .
The three of them were extremely happy to be home, four if you counted the asleep toddler.
Phil was quick to fulfill the old woman's promise, sneakily trying to apply the calamine oil to the exposed skin. (So mainly the face and hands). He didn’t want to wake Tommy, if he was being fully honest. The child was still worn out, so a little extra rest didn’t hurt.
But the extra layers of clothing did, but Techno and Wilburs skills of sneaking around, they managed to slip the coat off of him without the kid even stirring.
Phil got to put the strip-thermometer to use, carefully placing it onto his boys forehead. Watching as the thin-sheet began to show whichever range the fever was in.
He wasn’t the biggest fan of using them in the first place, because they never actually told the exact number. Which can be dangerous in some cases. If it was high then he’d wake the kid up to use the metal one. But he hoped it wouldn’t come to that.
The colours finally began to glow on a certain square.
It was orangey-red. Not a good sign.
There was no exact number, besides it being roughly 102 to 103. Just barely about to pass over into the red.
For now a small ice pack would hopefully help. He really didn’t want to return to town a second time, especially not for the Hospital…
He just hoped the fever went down in the passing hours.
Whichever God he had prayed to, had heard him. As Tommys temperature was significantly lower than before, Phil began to believe that the flimsy strip-thermometer was defective or broken in the first place.
He tried to ignore that if that was the case, then that meant the kids fever had actually been higher than that.
Tommy had woken up a few times in those few hours, successfully drifting back off to sleep.
Except for this time…
Of course it was the sound of Techno crinkling the plastic cake containers that woke the toddler, the grogginess the kid had from sleep instantly disappearing as the smell of freshly baked cupcakes and sweet treats filled his nose.
Wilbur turned to him, “Well, who knew. All it takes to wake him is some of Niki’s cooking.” Techno snorted at that, as he continued to get the rest of the pastries out of the paper bag.
Realistically, they knew that giving Tommy sugary sweets while he was sick, was not the healthiest plan. Nor the safest, they knew that in reality… One or two cupcakes wouldn’t do him any harm.
And Phil wouldn’t see so…
They already knew which one their brother would want, and if it was that the kid wasn’t feeling well enough to eat… They could always refrigerate it for when he was feeling better.
Still, Techno held out the wrapped up the snack.
It was a freshly made Donut with pink icing and white sprinkles. It was the kind of donut that was so soft that it melted in your mouth with every delicious bite… It would be stupid not to pass up an opertunity like this.
The five year old gently grabbed onto it, he was holding it so gentle that you would’ve thought he was holding a small animal. Techno chuckled, turning back towards deciding which of the two-matching cakes looked better, so he could have the superior one.
Wilbur seemed have figured it out before him, moving his hand to grab it.
“Nope, I’m deciding.”
“They’re the same, Techno! It’s just a cupcake” his twin whined.
“Great, so take the other one.”
“I’m not taking that deformed pile of bread and sugar.” Grimacing at the squashed side.
“So you admit it.” Techno pointed, moving his hand to the nice-looking cupcake that Wilbur currently had a grip on.
Tommy enjoyed unwrapping his donut as his brothers fought in the background.
Phil ended up eating their cupcakes as a punishment (And totally not because he was hungry.) He lightly scolded the twins then they began to whine, pointing to the ridiculous amount of sweet treats they had bought, telling them to eat those.
He found it ironic that teenagers squabble more than a literal baby.
Phil found himself smiling as the kid ate the donut, they were incredibly tiny bites, eating at a really slow pace. But at least he was feeling well enough to try some of his favourite snacks.
“You enjoying that, Tom’s?” He asked at the way his son's face lit up, nodding intensively. The kid was thoughtful enough to offer some of the donut to Phil, who respectfully declined.
“No thanks mate, I’m full from eating William and Billiams snacks.” He couldn’t help but let his laughter betray him from his seriousness as his twins snapped their heads towards him. Laughing even harder at how pink their faces had turned.
“Where did you hear those names?!” Wilbur questioned, pulling his beanie over his eyes. Techno was pointedly ignoring eye contact.
“Oh, just a sweet old lady referred to you two as that, and hey… They kind of have a nice ring to them, don’t you think?”
The disagreements and begging not to say that ever again, was very quick to follow.
The days of the family caring for the youngest began to pay off, as the final spots that had came in, were the last. Slowly going away over the following week.
The week had been absolute hell, filled with restrained fingers, tons of plasters and a shit load of crying and just a little bit of blood.
But all of their treating had proved itself successful as their youngest began to gain back the energy that was unrightfully ripped from him with the disease.
Tommy had spent the day he got better, ‘doing secret big man stuff’ where he wouldn’t let anybody even peak in his direction.
It had turned out the boy had been individually making his father and brothers thank you cards. And doing very-many fully drawn pictures, ones that they could tell that he had spent a lot of time on.
They had immediately engulfed him in a hug, and promised him that they’d do this again anytime in a heartbeat.
When he had handed them the final drawing he drew, similar to the one he did only a few days prior…
All four of them, their names written messily underneath. tommy, dadza, william, billiam
Philza snorted, saying it was absolutely perfect as he went to put it up on the fridge. Proudly on display for anybody to see.
The twins absolutely adored the adorable new addition to the fridge, but could only grimace as they soon realised that anyone who went to eat would see that, and no doubt refer to them by that.
“Well, It looks amazing. Don’t you agree William? I think it captures us perfectly. You think, Billiam ?”
“Yeah, exactly Phillip. ”
“Oh ew, I see your point, sorry boys.”
There was a moment of silence before Tommy popped his head up from the couch.
“Wait, does that mean dad’s gonna die soon-”
