"I can't believe he wished for that stupid bell." Dream groaned, eyeing that good for nothing bell. He simply just couldn't believe it, out of everything that Techno could have wished for. He wished for a bell. He let out a huge sigh.
"Can't sleep?" A mysterious voice echoed softly. Dream looked up and saw the god that somehow looked like him. "Still can't believe you gave him that stupid bell." Dream spat bitterly, still looking at the bell. "I only grant what people have asked for, I dont see purpose or intent." DreamXD replied. "What will you ask for ? What do you want?" He continued.
"I-" Dream hesistated, then remembered the cold reality that was his role in his own server, the villian. "I want to escape this prison so that I can exact my revenge on those who have hurt me." He recited bluntly. DreamXD raised an eyebrow, looking at Dream curiously. "I asked you for what you want, not for what people expect you to say. Wasn't it clear enough?"
Dream gave a sigh and properly answered the god's question. Not wanting to anger him further. "I want things to be like how they were before. Just a couple of friends having fun on the server." He closed his eyes and continued on, "I want to feel the sun shining on my face. I want to feel the blades of grass between my fingers and not the hard surface of crying obsidian. I want to be out there dueling with Technoblade and not stuck here with him. I want to be with my best friends, not to be hated by both and hunted down by one. I want attachments but they'll only be used against me. But things will never be the same again, will they? We can't truly have what we want, can we?" He looked up and smiled bitterly at DreamXD.
DreamXD looked down at the mortal, intrigued. "I have everything that I want and I can grant anything that you want." Dream simply shook his head and repeated, "Nothing stays the same and you can't truly have what you want."
This made DreamXD wonder. Does he have everything that he wants? He has his friend, the human Georgenotfound. Only after giving him a set of netherite armor. Aren't all friends like this? Giving gifts to each other? But all the human did was take and ask for more. The god sighed to snap himself out of his own trance and looked back at the prisoner.
"Okay, enough of me. I asked you, what is it that you want?"
