Dream was just your average cafe worker, a guy with a gentle freckled face and soft emerald green eyes that shone every time some light got into his eyes. However, his life decidedly takes a turn when one of his best friends becomes one of the top heroes' protege- a feat he had thought was commendable until his friend’s mental health got progressively worse and worse over time.
At first he had assumed it was just pressure getting to his friend, but as he dug deeper into the problem… it no longer seemed as simple as he had previously assumed.
His focus and goal had changed, messing up his previous patrol schedule- but that was fine, not like it would do too much damage, right? Catching some criminals off guard surely was it.
Until he bumped into the Blade in the middle of one of his solo investigations, and everything spiraled downhill from there.
