So Bird talk, i really need a better name for this XD. Anyways this language is a basic universal between all avains, there are small more complex languages that are hybrid specific for different species of avains but over all it is all general between them. The most basic form, the form that Xisuma knows, is more about pitch changes to know what they are saying rather then tone changes.
Once you get into the more complex stuff, like what Grian screeched at Philza, is based more in tone inflection. Tone is another one of the things that varies from avain to avain, but generally stays the same.
Some other hybrids and players are able to mimic the more basic form but then you have some that if they are around it long enough are able to fully mimic and learn the language, like the fox or tanuki hybrids.
