Summary
Phantom knew to always be prepared for anything, or at least knew how to get himself on top of a situation.
Danny Fenton, on the other hand, never really had to worry about things like that at school. Everything that happened there was predictable...until suddenly it wasn't. The new ghost shield that was installed overnight springs up around him in the middle of Mr. Lancer's class and catches him completely off guard- he hadn't known anything about a new shield! Trapped for real by a shield that strips away 'illusions' that keep ghosts hidden in plain sight finds Danny suddenly going ghost piece by piece...one 'costume change' after another until Phantom is left in his place.
And boy was this situation familiar.

Summary
When a ghost attack leaves Edward Lancer trapped along with three of his students under a collapsed building, it's up to him to keep them alive and calm while they wait for rescue. But during their time trapped under the rubble, with plenty of opportunities to learn a bit more about each other, Mr. Lancer discovers there may be more to one of his students than he'd first realized.
(AKA Danny, Mr. Lancer, Dash, and Kwan are trapped under a collapsed building, and they need to work together to survive while Danny tries his best to protect his secret)

Other Danny lifted his gaze and stared into Danny’s eyes, blinking rapidly in confusion, his eyes turning clearer as he seemed to tense and take Danny in, looking less surprised and more just… annoyed and frustrated.
“I’m in the past,” he muttered, dragging a hand down his face. Then he threw his head back and yelled, “Clockwork, if you’re listening to this, I’m coming for you next!”
“What is going on?” demanded Mr. Lancer who pushed forward until he was kneeling before other Danny, eyeing him and Danny warily. “I want an explanation right now, Mr. Fenton. And, er, Mr. Fenton…” He shook his head confusedly. “This is not the direction this lesson was supposed to take.”
“Trust me, Mr. Lancer,” said other Danny, “that’s what I keep on saying about my entire life.”

An English lesson is interrupted by a portal opening and spitting out a white-haired ghost.

When the Fenton parents went to investigate a strange phenomenon, unforeseen consequences began to stir a chain reaction that would lead to injuries, an odd medical issue (impossible for human standards) and the discovery of weird facts.
Have I forgot to mention that they're also unable to call for help?
The Fentons will have to work together (and trust each other's word) if they want overcome the obstacles they will face.
