Summary
Duke manages to sneak his way onto a multi-day stargazing trip out in Illinois. During the night, something catches his eye; a clear blue, glowing rock cold to the touch. He grabs it and goes back to stargazing. Upon returning to Gotham, during a night when he is out to compensate for an search of a dangerous new group he notices something different.
He's more floaty, the air around him is cold and gets colder the more pissed off he gets. Lights flicker as well.
His shadow, takes on a life of its own.

Summary

Their prospects seem to improve when a chance encounter with a JLD member gives them opportunities to work with the actual Justice League.
Unfortunately, one of those jobs turns dark when they realize how far their unknown adversary is willing to go to reach their goals. Danny and his friends work together to stop this mad magician. Will Danny end up as just another causality in this person's mad schemes? Not if Sam and Tucker have anything to say about it.

The end of Grade 11 is upon Danny, and for once nothing is going wrong. The local ghosts are friendly, Vlad is Vlad-ing at a safe distance, and the GIW isn't chasing him in circles. Things are good.
So of course his blundering parents have to upend it all by announcing to Amity Park that Phantom is half-human. Thanks to them, Danny has to navigate keeping his identity secret in the face of a whole city's worth of people searching for him, not only as a ghost, but as a human too. Worse still, he can't even be mad at his parents, 'cause they're being so damn nice about the whole thing.
A conundrum of epic proportions and Danny is tired of it already.

The beginning will be a bit clunky and expositional as a result but the story will pick up speed after that.
