Chapter Text
The birds were chirping outside the widow, the faint smell of rain lingered in the air. And the feeling of being crushed by a python filled his mind with a sense of danger. Quickly opening his eyes he noticed that it wasn’t danger but the fire keeper holding onto him in her sleep an act he would’ve been embarrassed about if not for the trembling that came from her arms as she held him. Gently nudging her awake she gasped before calming down at the sight of Izuku.
“My apologies ashen one”
She spoke quickly before getting out of the bed and leaving the room. All while being careful not to wake anyone.
As Izuku sat up on the edge of the bed he looked down to see Kaminari and Mineta passed out on the floor. Looking at the clock he saw that the time was just past eleven, the horror on his face as he realized that he already missed half of the school day.
“”OH SHIT… guys we are late for school!”
Kaminari slowly stirred from his sleep to the sight of Izuku frantically trying to put on his UA uniform, a quick glance at the clock told him why. With ought missing a beat he turned Izukus’s console back on and loaded up dark souls 3.
“What are you doing ? We’re already late enough as is!”
“You know Midoriya I really envy your quirk”
Midoriya paused and waited for Kaminari to continue despite being in the middle of pulling up his pants.
“My quirk in dangerous not only to myself but to the people around me, but you have a quirk that once fully controlled could help everyone. But during my stay here hanging out with you I think I understand, that its not necessarily out quirks that define our abilities to be a hero but how we train them and shape them to fit our needs. Which is why Im gonna help you improve your quirk I’ve decided that if I can’t make my quirk the best if can be for helping people then Im gonna help you mold yours”
“Me too!”
Mineta chimed in as he sat up from his sleep.
Izuku started at the duo for a moment before pulling up his pants.
“Hang on let me just make a phone call real quick”
Backing out of the room and heading into the bathroom for some privacy he up his phone and called All Might.
“Midoriya what’s wrong its not like you to miss school”
“All Might. I’ve decided that today Im going to to master One for all”
There was a pause on the other end of the phone.
“I’ll let the principal know”
All might hung up the phone and proceeded down the hall to Nezu’s office with a subtle smilie on his face.
Izuku walked back into his room to the sight of both Mineta and Kaminari sitting patiently on their pillows leaving a spot open for Izuku between them.
“All right lets do this!”

“No run to the back of the boss room and pick up the special weapon, Yhorm is a gimmick fight normal attacks and magic do fuck all to him”
As Izuku ran to the back of the room Yhorm the giant ran over and one hit Izuku’s character. Izuku’s head fell into his hands as the red text filled the screen.
“Well hey now you know to B-line it to the back of the boss room”

“Do you really think its alright for Izuku to be barreling forward with his quirk like this?”
All might sipped his tea before responding.
“I believe this to be the best course of action, honestly if Midoriya hadn’t suggested it I probably would have sooner rather then later, you know just as well as I do the power all for one has, with my limited strength I am no longer capable of confronting him”
“He is still just a boy Toshinori, your placing too much open his shoulders”
All might sat for a moment as he starred down at his tea.
“I know but that’s just part of the responsibility that comes with One for All.
Nezu turned to sip his own tea.
“All right ill trust both yours and Midoriya’s judgement, but you make sure to keep a proper eye on him, progress is good but too much in such a sort time could lead to.. unforeseen consequences”

“60% baby lets goooo!!!”
Kaminari cheered as Mineta came back in with a pizza box in his hands.
“Guys I got the pizza lets take a break and eat”
“Sounds good Im Starving, what about you Midoriya?”
“Yeah I could go for a bite”
Izuku went to the safety of fire link shrine before leaving the game to grab a slice of pizza for himself, as he sat there eating his slice and listing to Kaminari and Mineta’s banter he began reflecting on what Kaminari was telling him earlier.
‘I wonder if there’s any way I could help him’
Thinking this he places his half eaten slice of pizza back on his paper plate and turned his attention back to the game, he moved his character towards the npc Irina of Carim, the miracles merchant, thanks to the help of Mineta he was able to free her and acquire the Braille tomes for her to sell miracles. Seeing as most of them were lightning based he thought it would be nice if Kaminari could use them. Just then his hands cramped around the controller and a familiar pain ebed at the back of his mind, just then the shop interface appeared not just in the game but in front of himself as well.
“Wait I can buy items and use them in reality as well ?”
Hearing this both Mineta and Kaminari turned to him.
Looking at his number of souls he had about 20,000.
Without hesitating he purchased lightning spear from the shop and also opened his inventory to select lightning stake which he acquired from defeating the Carthus sand worm. Closing out of the menus he opened the palm of his hand to reveal a two scrolls, turning towards the blonde he quickly handed the scrolls to him.
“What’s this?”
“Miracles”
Kaminari’s eyes went wide as he scrambled to unroll the first scroll, as he fully unrolled it a grilling glowing text started wring it self onto the parchment, Izuku and Mineta sat back and watched in amazement as the glowing test began floating off the scroll and traveling into Kaminari’s pupils. After he was done with one scroll he opened the other.
After both scrolls were used they faded out of existence in the palm of his hands. Kaminari turned to Izuku with an almost dumbfounded look on his face.
“I know how to use miracles now!”
The dumbfounded expression quickly turned to excitement and he ran up and hugged Izuku.
“Im looking forward to hero training tomorrow!”
Izuku smiled as Kamari lit of tiny controlled sparks from his hands, before turning his attention back to the game.
“Come on guys only 40% more to go lets farm some souls”
“Yeah!” The two guys yelled in unison.
“Hey Midoriya maybe next time you could get something for me?”
Izuku looked at Mineta and nodded his head to which Mineta pumped his fists in excitement.

8 pm.
“Guys we did it, not only can I handle 100% but I have enough souls for 6 extra levels”
“What are you gonna put them in?”
“Dexterity that’s really the only other stat that can benefit me right now”
Kaminari agreed while Mineta sat there polishing his golden wing crest shield that Izuku gave him, he chose it because he thought its magic absorption would translate into a great defense against emitter type quirks.
“You’ve got 100% but aren’t you gonna get a weapon for yourself to use, with your quirk toppled onto all that strength you’d be able to swing a great sword as if it were a dagger”
Izuku thought about it for a moment before bringing the games inventory menu up to browse his collected weapons, thanks to Kaminari and Mineta he basically had acquired almost all the weapons in the game so he wasn’t short of any potential options.
After weighing his options he decided on the black knight ultra great sword.
After summoning the weapon into reality he held it in his hands feeling the weight of it. he huffed a bit and he raised it.
“Jeez this things gotta weigh over 100 pounds”
After testing it with his bare stats he decided to charge up a bit of his quirk.
“ lets go with 10%”
While the sword became more wieldy it was still quite heavy.
“Still heavy, but more easy to control, however I wanna find the minimum percentage needed for this to weight next to nothing”
“go for it dude !”
’15% still heavy, 20%…like a pillow..lets try 22%’
Izuku grinned as the sword became weightless in his hands, and to further attest to his own assessment he easily was able to balance to sword with but one finger. With a shit eating grin on his face he turned towards Kaminari and Mineta.
“Im so ready for hero training tomorrow!”
