Chuuya huffed, before taking the elevator up to the Mori’s office. After making sure that he and Atsushi weren’t followed, he had allowed the kid to stay in his private suite until he could go back.
And then, he had received a summon for the boss right after he was done touring the kid around.
Hopefully, the summon was for another job, and not because the famed leader of the Mafia had discovered his little secret.
After all, Chuuya always had a soft spot towards kids, and refused to harm them no matter what.
Akutagawa and Atsushi were so young when they were forced to join. Forced to be turned into weapons and become the next double black.
Since he was unable to save White, he would have to just settle for protecting his counterpart from Mori until White can defeat the ability user.
Fortunely, the summon wasn’t about anything serious. Chuuya had just been called for another job.
“What is my next job?” Chuuya asked.
”Simple. I haven’t heard from my Reaper in awhile, perhaps you know where he is?” Mori smirked, his eyes narrowing into slits.
”No, sir. I haven’t.” Chuuya replied, eyes on the monster.
“Oh Chuuya~ you’re such a bad liar.” Mori smiled, his ability activating behind him.
Atsushi sighed, staring at the window bored. It had been so long since Chuuya had left. Chuuya forbid him to leave the suite, in case harm might come to him, but he was so bored!
There was nothing to do, and nothing to eat in the fridge except bottles and bottles of the finest wine.
Chuuya must really be an alcoholic.
All of a sudden, there was a harsh knock at the door. Atsushi jumped up excitedly. That must be Chuuya!
He raced to the door and yanked it open.
“Chuuya- !”
Armed soldiers that were clearly Mafia members stood at the door.
Atsushi slammed the door almost immediately upon glancing at them. And got a head start at running away.
How!? There’s no way they could find me this soon!!” Atsushi thought frantically, as he tried to find another exit.
“He’s over there!! Get him!”
Using his tiger ability, he swiftly defeated the men by leading off the walls quickly, as well as putting his combat moves that he learned from Kunikida into use.
Atsushi was panting, as he dragged the limp bodies of the men outside, and boarded the door. He should have never opened that door! Why was he so stupid!?
”That, should be the last of them.” He sighed, before a black tentacle spiked and hit the wall near him.
He turned around, only to see the last person he wanted to see today.
”Akutagawa.”
”Nakajima.”
Chuuya huffed, as he raced through the Mafia headquarters. Most of the guards had orders to capture him, but he wasn’t known as the King Of The Sheep for nothing. He easily took out most of them.
As soon as Mori activated his ability, he made a run for it. He knew he wasn’t going to win if he faced off against the famed Mafia boss. He needed to get back to the suite immediately. Knowing Mori, he probably sent some guards there already.
And after this, they would probably be labeled as “traitors” from the Mafia. Ah well.
These thoughts raced through Chuuya’s head, as he used his ability and made himself weightless, moving as fast as a speeding bullet.
“Chuuya.”
Unfortunately, it was never that easy. Koyo, and the big three of the Black Lizard, stood before him blocking the exit. And behind him, was multiple guards.
There was no way he was going to make it out of here alive.
Koyo was an excellent swordsman or swordswoman that was almost unbeatable. Her golden demon was twice as powerful as Kyouka’s demon snow. And he has yet been unable to beat her in a duel.
And the Black Lizard. While he may have been able to defeat Tachihara and Gin, there was a small chance of defeat all three of them, especially with Koyo. And not to forget, the rest of the Black Lizard had guns cocked and ready to fire behind him.
So he would basically have to dodge multiple bullets, or send them into the ground, while constantly using his ability to fight Koyo’s so-fast-it’s-practically-invisible-sword. And not to mention battling Gin, Tachihara and Hirotsu.
All at the same time.
He would be dead, and there would be another option, corruption, but alas, Dazai was nowhere near. Actually, he was sure that Dazai would side with the Mafia so it was a good thing he wasn’t here.
“Chuuya, surrender.” Koyo narrowed her eyes at him, hand already on the hilt of her blade.
“Heh. Like hell I will!”
Chuuya advanced, ready to strike.
Akutagawa narrowed his eyes at the Weretiger. He was different. More alive somehow. The light that the Weretiger used to have before Dazai had crushed it out of him was still there. He wasn’t wearing the collar that Dazai had gifted him when he was recruited into the Mafia, and he always wore that no matter what.
It was like the Weretiger had gone back in time, only.. he was the same height. And he recognised him, so there was no way that was the Weretiger’s past self.
”Who are you?” Akutagawa growled at him, Rashomon behind him, poised to strike.
Atsushi remained silent, before pouncing. After all, he was unable to think of an answer. And knowing Akutagawa, even if he told him the truth, he wouldn’t help him and rip him apart either way.
And true to his word, Akutagawa activated Rashomon immediately, vowing to shred him for answers.
Typical Akutagawa.
But Atsushi didn’t have time for this now, he needed to get away as soon as possible, in case backup arrived.
“Get him.” Koyo pointed the tip of her sword at him, signalling to start attacking.
The Black Lizard fired bullets at him, while the Golden Demon advanced, ready to slice him up. Hirotsu activated his ability.
All of a sudden, the wall broke into a million pieces.
“What the-!!” Tachihara shouted.
In all their glory, all the Agency members stood there, Dazai at the front.
”Hey, hat rack! Missed me?
