He snapped his fingers, made the ultimate sacrifice, and slipped into oblivion.
That should have been the end.
But then there was heat, pain. A ragged breath in a place he hadn't seen in years: the Afghan cave.

Gojō Satoru was so tired. Being the strongest sorcerer in the modern era, sure, it’s cool and all, but come on! Can’t a guy just relax? He was exhausted. But nope, the universe's got other plans.
Now he's stuck in this weird, timey-wimey mess. Past, present, future? What the f*ck is happening?! All Satoru knows is he's got a headache and a whole lot of questions. Could he find peace in a world that always needed him, but never wanted him? Would he ever be satisfied?

Summary
Gojō Satoru and Getō Suguru were an unlikely, but inseparable duo in their youth. However, a series of tragedies shattered Suguru's unwavering resolve, as disillusionment and the weight of failure clouded his judgement.
