Two years had passed since that night. Exactly two. They sat in the Potter's house with the old gang gathered around them.

Remus couldn't be happier. Lily winked at him.

He grabbed Sirius by his shirt and pulled him into the guest room. They could hear everyone in the other room cheering, and Sirius was not one to be thrown, even by his boyfriend randomly pulling him into other rooms. But Remus got there first. He kissed the daylights out of him, kissed him until he was half-scared his lips would fall off, and whispered,
"I did that because I was hoping you could help me with my New Years' resolution. It's kind of an 'us' type deal."
"Course Moons," he grinned at the words. "Whatever you want."
"Marry me," he breathed, pulling a ring from his pocket. It was simple, a silver band with a single star on it, but it reminded him of Sirius.
Sirius pulled him in for another, shorter kiss.
"I'm all your's, Moony. Forever."
He slipped the ring onto his finger.
"On one condition," Sirius grinned. Remus groaned.
"You're killin' my buzz, you beautiful wanker."
"I want to be a Lupin."
Remus grinned. "Deal."
