AKIRA: Oh I actually don't travel that much. That's more my mom and dad. (7:45 PM)
AKIRA: But I did live in the US and then Finland for a few years. (7:45 PM)

AKIRA: Not particularly. Oh! But I am going to be studying abroad for the coming school year. ✌ (7:46 PM)

AKIRA: I apologize. This is Makoto Niijima, I’m Student Coumcil President of Shujin or at least until I graduate at the end of March. (7:44 PM)

AKIRA: I was a little embarrassed but honestly he’s done this to me and all our friends before whenever someone makes a typo in messages. (7:46 PM)

MOM: And I say this as someone who’s been with Hideaki BEFORE all the fancy tech came about! (7:47 PM)
AKIRA: I wouldn’t worry. I admit that I hadn’t had much experience with others my age but at this point I’ve long accepted my friends’ little quirks. (7:47 PM)
MOM: Anyway, I’m Rina and I’m glad to see someone very responsible keeping an eye on my son. (7:48 PM)
AKIRA: He hasn’t made it easy. (7:48 PM)

MOM: Oh I think I've seen her before on some magazines. The Venus of Shogi I think? (7:42 PM)
AKIRA: Well yeah but she's not fond of that nickname. Her name's Hifumi. (7:42 PM)

AKIRA: Hello, this is Hifumi and no apology is necessary. I'm not a fan of it but honestly I'll take it over "Phony Princess." (7:43 PM)
DAD: Phony Princess? What do people think you do to earn a nickname like that? (7:43 PM)
AKIRA: I'm a professional Shogi player but Akira helped me learn that my mother had been fixing my matches by bribing competitors. (7:44 PM)
AKIRA: Ever since the truth came out, people act like I was the one to ask her to do this, not that she did it on her own. (7:44 PM)
DAD: So your mom was the one who cheated but you take the blame? That sounds like bullshit to me. (7:44 PM)
DAD: Pardon the language. (7:44 PM)
AKIRA : It's fine, I've honestly heard worse. (7:45 PM)
MOM: I agree with my husband that it's not really fair to you. (7:45 PM)
MOM: Tell you what! If you ever need a break from all the cameras and microphones, spend some time with us and Akira in Inaba! (7:45 PM)
DAD: I dunno, Rina. Inaba has kind of developed a reputation for housing celebrities who need a break! Lol. (7:46 PM)
DAD: But really, Rina and I would be happy to have you. Maybe even bring your family too! I'm sure my wife would like to have some words with your mother. (7:46)
AKIRA: Akira just let out a shiver when he read that. Is Rina-san really that scary? (7:47 PM)
MOM: I am not! Ignore both of them! Anyway, it was nice to finally get to talk to you, Hifumi-chan. Hopefully we'll get to meet in person soon! (7:47 PM)
AKIRA: I hope so too. As for bringing my parents along, I think stepping out of the city would be good for my mother. I’m not sure about my father though, he can’t really travel that much. (7:48 PM)
AKIRA: Though maybe since Inaba’s such a much smaller town, maybe it wouldn’t be too much for him? (7:48 PM)

AKIRA: I admit that while I’ve known how to cook for a while, it’s only recently that I found enthusiasm for it. I like to think your recipes helped (7:45 PM)

AKIRA: I admit that I've been struggling with it recently. But I've been practicing very hard and I do feel like I'm getting better. (7:48 PM)
DAD: That's good to hear, ya know, I remember Akira wanted to be a gymnast when he was a kid. (7:49 PM)
AKIRA: Really? He didn't tell me! :O (7:49 PM)
DAD: Just all the good classes were too far. (7:49 PM)
DAD: He got so upset when we told him so he tried to do it on his own. (7:49 PM)
MOM: I don’t think my heart has recovered from the couch incident. 😩 (7:50 PM)

DAD: Oh yeah, there was this time where he tried to leap off and do a backflip off the top of the couch. (7:50 PM)
DAD: I managed to catch him before he landed but he still knocked me over. Better me than him going to the doctor I guess. Ha! (7:51 PM)
AKIRA: Ha ha, that reminds me of the trouble Kasumi and I got into when we were kids. (7:51 PM)

MOM: When he told us that his record got leaked, we started to worry. (7:49 PM)

AKIRA: End of the summer, he helped me out with some stuff (7:52 PM)
AKIRA: And after all the shit we've been through, I kinda realized that being with him was the happiest I’ve been. (7:52 PM)

DAD: Akira let him borrow the phone and told me who really made my favorite art piece some months ago. (7:46 PM)
MOM: Well lucky you but how come I didn’t get a chance to meet Yusuke-kun!? 😤 (7:46 PM)
AKIRA: In fairness, we hadn’t started dating at that point. (7:47 PM)
AKIRA: I can put him on the phone now? (7:47 PM)
MOM: Oh go ahead! (7:47 PM)
AKIRA: Good evening, this is Kitagawa Yusuke.(7:48 PM)
DAD: Nice to see you, Yusuke-kun. How’ve you been doing? (7:48 PM)
AKIRA: I have been fairing decently especially after we were able to finally help Akira clear his name. (7:48 PM)
DAD: That’s good to hear and thank you for that. (7:49 PM)
DAD: So if you don’t mind me asking? Why don’t you tell us about your art? (7:49 PM)
DAD: What styles do you usually work with? Any inspirations? (7:49 PM)
MOM: Oh boy, here comes the art talk. 😵 (7:49 PM)
AKIRA: Most of my work is usually abstract. I believe there is truly something special in the human imagination’s capability to find meaning. (7:50 PM)
AKIRA: Though that isn’t to say I only limit myself to abstraction. I work a little with realism in landscapes and portraiture. (7:50 PM)
AKIRA: Perhaps I could experiment with surrealism at some point.(7:51 PM)
DAD: I’d love to see that. (7:51 PM)
AKIRA: As for inspirations. My greatest inspiration was The Sayuri. (7:51 PM)
DAD: Oh. Safe to say that Madarame stole that one too? Do you know who really made it or? (7:51 PM)
AKIRA: Yes. The painter was my mother, it was meant as a gift for me before she passed away. (7:52 PM)
DAD: I see. (7:52 PM)
DAD: Well just from that one painting, I can tell that your mother was an incredibly talented and loving person, Yusuke-kun. (7:52 PM)
AKIRA: Thank you. (7:53 PM)
MOM: So you’re living by yourself? No father? (7:53 PM)
AKIRA: My father died when I was too young to remember him and after my mother’s death, I was raised by Madarame. (7:53 PM)
MOM: I’m sorry. (7:53 PM)
MOM: I hope you can consider Hideaki and I, people you can trust. (7:54 PM)
