“Are you sure it’s her?” He looked down at his friend, she had her arms swung behind her
“Like, 80,90%, listen I’ve known Roadie for a while she wouldn’t just call me if it wasn’t important…her social skills need work if I have to be blunt.”
“And you’re gonna tell her? You think she of all people would like to know this is happening.”
“Come on V she’s a busy lady, with her promotion and running this whole place, I don’t wanna bother her.”
“So we’re keeping her in the dark then huh.”
“It’s less keeping her in the dark and more huh…neglecting to mention key details wow that sounded worse…point is yeah I’m gonna go check that out and the less she knows the better.”
“Fine, when do we leave?”
“What.”
“You need someone to keep you from doing some dumb shit,besides I’m kinda not doing anything here while my gear is being repaired so…” She shrugged her shoulders.
“Ok, I know it’s useless trying to get you not to come but if anyone asks, we’re going for I don’t know, a joyride, think of something clever.”
“Aren’t you a spy, that's your job dude.”
“Scout, and you read a lot don’t you, you’re more creative, besides I have to go look for…how do you even get rid of someone like her, Holy Water? A crucifix? Basic compassion and empathy?”
“Also, my stuff’s already in your ship, in case you were thinking of just leaving, I’ll wait for you there.” The girl said walking away confidently.
