Contrary to popular belief, Bruce Wayne isn’t a total rich asshole who only cares about themself and their money. Edward used to believe that they was just like the rest of them, but after being forced into sitting next to Bruce for a two term long Chemistry Class and being their lab partner, they’re not such that bad. Bruce Wayne just enjoys rock and metal, comics, movies, and plays a lot of COD and I mean a LOT.
They kinda began to actually be friends, they both only really had one friend, but they quickly became close after realizing they were gonna have to get along if they wanted to get the chemistry credits. After that class they didn’t stop talking or hangout at each others houses (That’s when Edward saw how much COD they played, he can’t really judge though. He likes to ignore the 5,000 hours on Terraria, he doesn’t even like the game!”)
“Bruce! I got some movies the other day, I got some horror movies and some funny ones!”
“…mhm…”
“You’re free this weekend right, we should watch them!”
“…yeah…”
Edward giggles, Bruce always thought it was cute every time Edward got excited he would giggle. Bruce just thinks Edward is cute, they love his light brow fluffy hair, his bright green eyes sometimes you could see a hint of brown in them if you looked close enough. Bruce always loved his riddles, thought they would never admit that, they would never admit any of this. Hell they doesn’t think they could if they wanted to! Bruce like… they like… no- they… bruce lo- no! They can’t say that!…
Bruce really really really likes Edward, like they wants to get married and grow old together…
They’re never going to admit this…

There was a knock at the door, Edward jumped and ran to the door, while making his way he slipped on the hardwood floor. “I’m alright!” Edward yelled, quickly getting up and opening the door. He opened it to see a Bruce Wayne laughing, which is quite the rare sight. Edward joining in mostly at himself from embarrassment.
“Get in here,” Edward grabs a still laughing Bruce and drags them into his apartment.
“God Eddie, you’re just something else sometimes,” Bruce wiped tears from their eyes, Edward loved that nickname, he found himself blushing a bit. What also didn’t help was Bruce smiling and laughing, it didn’t happen much.
“Okay okay, I get it,” “Sorry, I thought it was just really funny” Now Bruce had calmed down from they’re laughing fit, looking at Edward with a smile.
“It’s whatever!” Edward said quickly looking away, he’s blushing so hard right now… it’s kinda embarrassing.
“Oh I just made some sugar cookies for us! I need to get some popcorn then we can watch these movies,” Bruce’s face lit up more at the mentions of cookies. They love Edwards baking every chance they got he would take it, but this was different this was his sugar cookies. They were the best sugar cookies they’ve ever had.
“Can I have one now?”
“Yes Bruce” Edward giggled, he watched Bruce get up and run to the kitchen a few moments later they come back eating one and a few more in hand.
“I thought you said just one” Edward said giggling,
“…’ange oh pla…”
“yeah?”
“…mhm…” He couldn’t help but laugh at Bruce, god this used to be the guy he despised for years. They decided to get snacks and drinks and head to Edward room. Edwards room was always great for watching movies it was cozy, he has the softest blankets, his room has warm string lights just the complete opposite of Bruce’s room basically. Edward had a lot of stuffed animals his favorite was a Raggedy Ann, he said he’s had it for a very long time. They bring down some blankets from his unmade bed and sit in the floor against his bed, it’s just better then sitting on the bed. They start with Silent Hill which is a personal favorite of Bruce’s but Edward hadn’t seen it yet, he enjoyed it and after both drooling over Pyramid Head. Taking a quick break and getting more drinks then watch Saw, and about halfway through that’s when Jim Gordon (Edwards adopted dad) got home.
“Hey Ed, I’m home. Oh! Nice to see you Bruce,”
“…You too, Mr. Gordon…”
“Hi Dad, was work okay?”
“As good as being a cop can be, what are you guys watching?”
“Saw, I got it a few days ago,”
“Oh… Well have fun I guess…” Soon they finish up Saw, and Edward is losing his mind over it. It’s actually quite funny to Bruce.
“Omg… Bruce what if we… um we were in the bathroom trap… umm what would you do?” Edward asked fluttering his eyelashes,
“What?!” Bruce says laughing,
“What if we were Adam and Lawrence? Bruce will you be the Lawrence to my Adam?” Bruce just laughs. They watch both of the Wayne’s World movies, they both thought those were funny and by now it was about midnight neither of them tired. They decided to just put on Adult Swim as background and just hangout and talk, they just talk about anything and everything, gossip they hear around there university. Which at some point lead to ideal partners which lead to Bruce confessing that they in fact really really really likes Edward.
“Shit… Edward I- I’m sorry if I just made this weird, if you want I can- I can leav-“
“Shut up Bruce, I- shit… me too… I- just fuck it”
Edward grabs Bruce’s face and kisses them, bruce immediately responded. It started soft and slow, slowly growing more passionate and intense, exploring each other’s mouths. Both pulling away with red lips and blown pupils, the realization of what just happened hit Edward in the face burying his face in Bruce’s shoulder. They were both processing what just happened.
