“I’m Jisung, by the way,” he said, tucking his gun into the holster at his side. Minho traced the movement with his gaze, his body still braced for impact. Jisung cracked a smile. “Sorry for putting a gun to your head.”
(A year ago, Minho left the Agency and vowed to never return to his life as an assassin. Today, Jisung knocks on his door. Jisung, who has been dead for almost two years.)

Summary
“Who are you?” Jisung asks.
Minho looks at the blade, then at the man holding it. The pretty face, the steady hand, the intelligence in his eyes that had been there all along.
The captain's voice comes back to him. The act is the only thing keeping us breathing.
Well, Minho thinks grimly, so much for the fucking act.
“Your guard, Your Highness,” he answers, and lets a ghost of a smile touch his mouth. “Or whatever else you’d like me to be.”
Prince Han Jisung is kidnapped by Captain Bang's crew on his way to an arranged marriage built on lies. What should have been a simple scheme turns into a voyage through raging storms, treacherous waters, haunting folklore, buried secrets, and one mutual, incredibly inconvenient attraction.
or: Minho kidnaps Jisung for ransom. Falling in love with him was never part of the plan.

Summary
The Jisung standing in the kitchen doorway is unlike any of Minho’s memories.
He’s grown out of his awkward gawkiness entirely. His tousled hair curls at his nape, stylishly cut. He has what look like designer glasses perched on his nose, and he’s wearing a shirt that draws attention to both his broad shoulders and slight waist. When he catches Minho’s eye, he gives him a familiar smile—once sweet and goofy as a preteen, now totally disarming.
He’s horrendously Minho’s type. Like, embarrassingly.
His mind spins and spins until he can’t make out any singular thought in the chaos. His inner monologue is one solid, whirring thing.
“Been a long time since I had a proper bug sighting,” he says, trying not to sound as winded as he feels. He’s staring. He can’t help it. He’s looking at an apparition of the kind of pretty-eyed guy he’d approach in a bar, here in Chan’s nice kitchen, wearing little Jisung’s smile.
When Minho reconnects with his childhood friends, he finds himself struggling with unexpected feelings for Chan's little brother Jisung.

Summary
"you’re too good at this,” jisung grumbles.
“too good at what?” minho asks.
“taking care of me,” Jisung says. “why won’t you just leave me to wallow in my misery and let me contemplate my inevitable death like a good hyung would?”
minho huffs out a laugh, and knocks his forehead against jisung’s.
“i guess i’m not a good hyung, then.”
---
or, in moments where jisung finds himself untethered from the world, crushed by the weight of his own fear and sorrow, minho is there to hold him.
