Summary
Dimitri finds himself lamenting the breakdown of his relationship with Felix and decides to do something about it, but the chance for reconciliation comes at a *very* bad time.

Summary
Dimitri is close enough that Felix can smell his fucking soap. He wants to bite Dimitri's neck, not because there's extra glands there or whatever that beta-concocted myth is, but because he has no other ideas for how to handle the awful want pulsing through him.
“Felix?” Dimitri looks at him. The fading sunlight illuminates his eyelashes well enough that Felix could count them if he had enough wits to remember what numbers are. They are so, so close together. “Are you alright? You have seemed rather jumpy lately.”
A year ago, Dimitri would've apologized for daring to make an observation about Felix. He would've asked Felix to forgive his presumption. He would've pulled back and looked away—wouldn't have been this close in the first place.

Summary
An unmated royal omega going into heat causes a minor stir in Garreg Mach. It seems that said royal omega has opinions on who he wants for his alpha: the duke’s son he’d been promised to a long time ago. He makes his feelings known about the entire situation, violently.
Felix, of course, tries to pretend the whole thing isn’t happening. A bold strategy; let’s see how it plays out for him.

Summary
Felix is aware, in a distant, secondhand sort of way, that there are fathers who tell their sons that men should not cry. For all the strain in their relationship, that was not a lesson Rodrigue ever tried to impart on Felix. The reasons Felix abandoned the emotional displays of childhood never had anything to do with masculinity.
And yet, something about sitting at Dorothea’s dressing table and feeling nothing at all like a man has tears slipping down Felix’s face more easily than they have in well over a decade. Maybe it’s the nerves. Maybe it’s the honesty. Maybe it’s one of the thousand factors that Felix still doesn’t fully grasp.
Whatever it is, it’s getting increasingly difficult to hide.
