Summary
Hoffman doesn't come back that day. Strahm turns on the news, listens to it while he makes himself dinner. There's no mention of Hoffman, or Jigsaw, or the ugliest motherfucker in Jersey turning up dead in a ditch somewhere. His grilled cheese is thoroughly burnt by the time he bites into it, and he hurls it at the wall in lieu of having another breakdown. Hoffman's sits on the plate across the table, perfectly cooked and growing cold. Strahm throws his sandwich at the wall for good measure, then follows it with the plate when he sees the greasy smudge it leaves behind.

Strahm goes stiff and looks down at it, lip curled in disgust. He lifts Hoffman’s hand between his index finger and thumb, like a used tissue, and throws it back over into his own lap.
- In tears rn- Why did he jump out of the car HELPPP
He glances back to Hoffman, looks him up and down. “You'd kill for me?” He asks.
Hoffman looks up from across the table, expression serious despite the mustard on the corner of his mouth. “Of course I would.” He licks his lips and stares back at Strahm. “I'd kill you, too.”
Strahm isn't sure if he finds that comforting or not. He reaches across the table and pats Hoffman on his scarred cheek. “Good dog,” he tells him.
Hoffman winks back. “Woof.”

Summary
He thinks of how having that — the closeness, the teeth teasing a bite, the scent — once again, would drive all of his pain away.
But the Alpha is out of reach, gone from his side, leaving only the solace of a brotherly Omega bond to pacify him instead.
It’s enough. At least, for the time being.
But he doesn’t know for how long.

Summary
Aegon falls pregnant by his brother, but he refuses to take responsibility. Someone else will take advantage of the situation to claim what should have been theirs since the beginning.
"Well, if they turn up with brown hair we shall blame it on their grandmother's liking, just like Rhaenyra has done." She said nonchalantly, trying to reassure him, which somehow she achieved despite having fully missed the mark.
