Summary
Sara and Ava have been friends for years since they broke up. It takes so long to find somebody who loves you. It made so much sense not to let go. It still makes sense. Which is why they remained good, dear friends after their breakup, enough that during moments when the world stops turning, wobbles where it once spun, threatens to come crashing down and sometimes even does, they call each other.
So when tragedy strikes the Lance family, Ava comes running. She drops everything, and she comes running. Because she loves Sara, and it’s the right thing to do.
(Or, love always remains. Sometimes, it’s simply hibernating. The story of how Sara and Ava find their way to falling in love once more and this time, for good. An exes to lovers AU.)

Summary
Sara's relatively new to school, but already she is THE cool kid that everyone wants to be with. Everyone except Ava, who is much more interested in making sure she secures the spot of Valedictorian in their graduating class and that she survives her physics group project with her GPA intact. So of course, Mr. Stein pairs her to work with Sara. Except, maybe Sara's not so bad. And maybe, as her best friend, Amaya, has pointed out, making meaningful connections with people is actually an important part of life.

Summary
Sara meets Ava the night three arrows are engraved into her chest, and she falls from a building and survives. She sees her for the first time, then.
But the first time Ava meets Sara, is years before. Actually, Sara's her first human.

Or, a continuation of the Guardian Angel AU, from "all the lives I've ever lived (they were leading me here)". It still makes sense as a stand-alone, details in the notes at the beginning.

Summary
It happens, Ava thinks, because they were finally left alone.
Nate is the last of their friends to say he can’t make it to their Friday movie night – a bimonthly tradition that started in freshman year where they gather, eat too much popcorn, and then decide to order a meal, too – citing the fact that he has a lot of work to catch up on.
Everybody else slowly dropped out before him for one reason or another, which is how Ava ended up with Sara’s head against her shoulder and a movie playing on her computer instead of Ray’s TV at his annoyingly nice apartment that’s off of Central City University’s campus.
So really, she can blame everybody else.
(Or, five times they don’t talk about what’s going on between them, and the one time that they do. A friends-with-benefits AU where they really just need to communicate.)
