Summary
When Danny thought of royalty he used to think of resplendence and indulgence and the delegation of tasks.
Well, that turned out to be a load of crap. Danny now had a laundry list of problems he had to take care of, starting with the leaks of ectoplasm that were draining from the Ghost Zone into the Mortal Realm and that was much too dangerous to be lying around where any old human could be exposed to the soul corrupting biohazard.
(And maybe after he'd hit up that Constantine guy he's gotten complaints from no less than ten of his subjects and had a whole list of other transgressions and alarming notes of interest on. Someone like that couldn't be left to just run around unmonitored not even mentioning that active custody case for his soul that was being duked out in ghost court. Danny's ghost court.)

Ghosts are attacking across the nation. The Justice League Dark's supernatural entity contacts either don't know anything or they refuse to talk. The government facilities that the ghosts are targeting refuse to offer any information, rather they are pushing for martial law that allows them to declare war against the attacking ghosts.
Bruce's last lead is Jasmine Fenton, daughter of the deceased ecto-biologists Madeleine and Jack Fenton, currently imprisoned in Blackgate.

Summary
It's been 3 years since Danny's little ... "accident" in the ghost portal. The first two were by far being the most active. But things have quieted down on the ghost front. But as all of his friends get closer and closer to graduating, too moving on, Danny has no idea what his next step should be. Or if there is one. He knows he cannot live under the same roof as his parents for very much longer. Jack and Maddie haven't slowed down on their war against ghosts, and are still hellbent on capturing Phantom and taking him apart molecule by molecule for study.
Clockwork, as always, has a very helpful plan for the young ghost boy. Which will help him prepare, and train, for the next stage of his role within the infinite realms. A plan which he will not be sharing with Phantom.
Through one of the infinite doors within the infinite realms, a whole other world awaits. One with Heroes and Villains who will help to shape the new Ghost King.
