The birds continued to sing overhead, and the wind rustled a few leaves.
Wilbur heard no response from Tommy.
But he had already started, so he might as well not give up now.
“I’m sorry.” These words did not come out as forcefully as they could have, but Wilbur was grateful they came out at all. “I’m sorry I failed you. I’m sorry I hurt you in Pogtopia, or even during the Revolution, or with every stupid mistake I made. I’m sorry I blew up L’manberg. I’m sorry I scared you in limbo. I’m sorry I said Dream was my hero. Ranboo told me what he could about Dream and exile, and I’m sorry I wasn’t there.”
Or, Wilbur Soot is a liar and a coward.
But maybe he doesn't have to stay that way.

fic 1: a 3+1 fic about three times that tommy falls asleep on wilbur’s shoulder + 1 time he falls asleep on his ! ambiguous/open ending <3
fic 2: a hurt/comfort fic about crimeboys in limbo! mostly fluff, but some angst !

Dream had escaped prison, apparently.
Wilbur wasn't fully sure what to think of that, but there was something he knew.
Despite how much he had talked about Dream being a hero, a savior, and everything else in between, he still knew that Tommy didn't like him. He decides that he should at least pay Tommy a visit after all that's happened.
Dream decides to tag along.
