That needed Uncle Eldrin. “Alright,” he said, stern. No nonsense. “No more excuses. You failed last time? Use your brain and figure out a better way. That truffle is yours, but only if you get over there and take it."

Their presence calling to his very soul as the power beneath his skin hums in that familiar way. A feeling he can't describe to someone who isn't a Warden. A skill unique to his order of monster hunters alone.
Or maybe just to him. For he is the best. Chosen for his prowess above all others for this hunt. To slay the most dangerous creature in Arlathan. An honor among his people, and one he will not fail.
