Summary
The dried blood on his nails won't come off no matter how many times he scrubs them. He feels sick in his throat as he scrub cleans his nails. He wants the blood to be cleaned quickly as it's a reminder of what had happened the night before.
The image of Chief Jung, drowned in his own blood, is still fresh in his mind. Now, he has the chief's blood on his fingers as a reminder. He scrubs harder.

"Why do you care?!" he snapped, emotions spilling out of him faster than blood now, "Why do you care about someone who reminds you of the man that killed your sister, huh?"
Then, with all the strength he had left, he pushed him away again, causing the other to trip back a few steps.
Finally, Dong-sik was stunned into silence, struck speechless with an expression nothing short of horrified shock. Joo-won, on the other hand, was full shaking again, with anger or something else, he didn't care to know.
"Joo-won, I-"
