“Naru… Does Super Cicada actually exist…”
“Yeah!” she says, as Froggy croaks his own affirmation.
Sensei notices him with a gasp and an impolite pointing. “Naru, did you hear? That frog replied along with you!”
“He’s Naru’s friend, after all!”
Froggy sits straighter. If Sensei heard him, can Sensei convince Naru trapping the cicada is moot? Froggy makes his argument anew.
Sensei claps. “Ah, it really is like it’s talking!”
Froggy stops mid-croak, going flat.

Summary
In the blink of an eye and before anyone had time to really process it, over a year had passed since the Jianghu had freed itself from the scheming white piece and their allies. Nothing had really returned to normal, but the world moved on just as it always had; the seasons came and went, trees withered and flourished, and the rivers flowed without rest.
Ren Shaotian found himself going back and forth between places, seemingly unable to find somewhere to settle. His brothers seemed concerned about his restlessness, but didn't want to press him too much about his plans. After all, his whole life had been turned upside down in the span of a few short months, and it was revealed that he had been living a lie for most of it— who wouldn't feel a little lost under those circumstances?
