Summary

Denki interrupted before he could finish, bumping shoulders with Kirishima as he blurted out, “It’s Bakugou! And is that,” he paused to squint at the sight of their spiky-haired friend walking beside a taller man, “a friend?”

He was a lot cooler than Deku, that’s for sure. For the rest of recess they were attached at the hip all the way until it was time to go. They both rode the bus home and it was the first time Kariage walked him home.
“Are you sure you can go home by yourself? I think my daddy can give you a ride home,” The blonde fiddled his fingers.
“I’m sure!” the other boy smiled confidently, “I know these streets like the back of my hand!”
Katsuki giggled, “Okay, see you tomorrow.”
“Bye Katsuki!” Kariage yelled as he ran down the street. Katsuki waved him off until the boy disappeared over the hill. As he made his way inside, he walked past his dad in the living room.
“Hey buddy. You made a new friend today?” his dad asked.
Katsuki smiled, “Yeah! We’re gonna be friends forever!”
