Summary
The temper of Armitage Hux is legendary among the palace staff. It's whispered about in the quiet corners of the servants corridors. Raised on Exegol and trained on Mustafar as the right hand of the Crown Prince, it's rumored he's even had staff tortured for infractions against the Empire.
Rose Tico has lived in the palace on Exegol for so long, she doesn't remember her life on Hays Minor. She has served the Crown Princess as protector, confidant, and friend, for almost as long. When she blunders into Armitage Hux, she's convinced she'll be tossed in the brig, doomed to be one of the many staffers who have mysteriously vanished.
What neither anticipate is the softening of a hard heart and the chance to change their destiny.
If only they have the courage to take the chance, and walk through the door.
