Summary
If you think this is your typical “Prince and the Pauper” kind of love story then you are in the wrong book, my friend.
Yes, there is a prince and yes, there is definitely a pauper but not in the way that other stories portray them to be.
Why?
Because our prince named Mark Lee in this book is a self-centered, highly-conceited 22-year-old guy who basks in the wealth of his family and the attentions of probably the entire Seoul Institute of Arts especially his equally-rich friends. (Typical prince huh!)
However, our pauper named Lee Donghyuck is a twenty-one-year-old orphan who lives in possibly the poorest district in Seoul with nothing in his rundown hovel except for three young orphans he is trying to raise.
