Summary
In a bizarre twist of fate, Rauru and Sonia both wake up and find themselves brought back from the dead by some ancient mysterious Zonai facility.
All the while Link's link to Rauru's power has fully been severed and his right arm has been spreading like mold.
The couple now dealing with being brought back to life, Sonia dealing with her not so Hylian body, and Link with his slowly diminishing Hylianity, will they be able to fight Gannondorf before it's too late?An AU I came up with on Tumblr that has begun evolving into an actual fic, the first two chapters are direct copy-pastes from the tumblr posts so suffer a bit in length.

Summary
Fate? The word sends a chill up Link’s spine and down his maimed arm, setting off a whole new set of aches and pains. He had hoped, perhaps foolishly, that fate and destiny were done with him and Zelda after the sealing of Calamity Ganon.
Ganondorf sits there, a living testament to the fact that fate is not satisfied with one grand tale of overcoming great adversity. It requires another to sate its insatiable appetite, and Link can only proclaim that he will feed it its fill while silently wondering how much it will take before there is nothing left.

Link wakes up in a strange place after being grievously injured and on the brink of death, revitalized with only a few things missing and having lost a lot of time. This is nothing new, however frustrating it is. What is new is the Zonai named Rauru who painstakingly healed him and seems overly invested in his recovery. What is unwelcome is his forced proximity to the Demon King Ganondorf, who for some reason he shares dreams with.
