Stelle paused, waiting for his response. It doesn't come for several hours, leading her to wonder just what he was managing to do in the archives for all of that time. When her phone does ping with a message from him, she's left even more bewildered.
Dan Heng: Strange or not, you would do well to heed the warning.
Stelle stared at her phone, rereading the message several times. She blinked once, then twice, before her features drew into a nasty scowl. Just what was going on with him?
Stelle: What would you do if I didn't?
He was typing a message. She could see the icon on their phone. He began, stopped -- only to begin again. This cycle continued for several minutes as she waited impatiently for his response, leg shaking up and down in agitation.
