Jude’s sent him a dozen texts, and each makes Erling smile more than the last. He knew, when he did it, that Jude would understand. That he would see the celebration and know that Erling had done it for him. Summary
“Yes– I, yes my name. I am Sergio,” he stuttered out.
“Well, nice to meet you Sergio– but you don’t need to flirt with me, I’m going to buy something regardless,” he laughed again, a fleeting smile dancing across his features. His eyes were deep, a sadness lingering in them, expressive and wistful. “My name’s Luka, can I order something?”
Luka, Luka, he wanted to roll the name around in his mouth, taste its sweetness and its bitterness, and take all that it had to give. He wanted everything that the man had to give, to take it, and cherish it, and call it his. He watched Luka’s hand drum anxiously on the counter– he wanted to lace their fingers together, he wanted to surge across the counter and taste his mouth, feel his breath on his lips. He clenched his fist instead. “Of course,” he hummed, savouring the way Luka’s breath seemed to catch the longer his eyes lingered on his face. “Could I recommend something, or is your mind made up?”

Summary
A pregnancy wasn’t what he expected as a soccer player.
He expected more typical things like fame or money, not to end his season with Dortmund 14 weeks into a pregnancy, with a somewhat uncertain future and a huge responsibility ahead of him.
He wasn’t crazy enough to accept something like that…
