Summary
Hua Cheng is a terminally ill young dollmaker of the lovely, world-famous Lianlian plushies, going under the name Wuming. Every doll is crafted with care, based on his dream vision of a beautiful deity.
Having led a life of sadness, ostracization, pain and loneliness, Hua Cheng is ready to give up—but not before creating his masterpiece, the wedding dress Lianlian. Too bad the spiritual deity linked to the dolls has other ideas and is nowhere near done with his most devoted believer.

The words slid between them like a blade pressed flat - dangerous, intimate, impossible to ignore.
Xie Lian turned at last, stepping in close enough that their bodies nearly aligned, his voice low and furious. “I will not be fucked in some dark hallway like a whore.”
Hua Cheng laughed softly, the sound warm and wicked against Xie Lian’s ear. “A hallway?” He echoed. “Please. If I were to fuck you, Your Highness, it wouldn’t be there.”
Xie Lian’s breath caught despite himself. “Don’t.”
“It would be in the royal chambers,” Hua Cheng went on, unhurried, eyes roaming Xie Lian’s face with infuriating familiarity. “Your bed. Your walls. Everyone knowing exactly where you are.”
Xie Lian’s smile turned razor-thin. “That doesn’t make it better.”
“No,” Hua Cheng agreed calmly. “Still like a whore.”

Summary
When nine-tailed elder fox spirit Hua Cheng gets stuck within the body of a little fox cub, he curses everything in the world. How could his outstanding luck betray him like this?!
Not only was he forced to flee, but he ends up hunted by hounds. Hua Cheng is already making plans of returning as a vengeful ghost should he end up dying, when, for the first time in eight centuries, someone else saves his life.
Or big, mean, scary Hua Cheng gets turned into a little harmless baby and has to endure being pampered by an eccentric prince.
