“Just remembered we have leftovers in the fridge,” Johnny says, eyes not leaving his book. What Johnny really means is: I am happy I have this now. I’m so glad I followed you here. I’m so glad we have these people around us.
Ten grins like he kind of gets what Johnny means anyway.
