"It's a little—" Shane looked at his wine glass, his face flushing. "It might be a little weird."
"Now I need to know."
'It's not bad-weird. It's just—" Shane exhaled. "You technically…you did set me up. A couple of times. You just didn't know what you were doing."
Shane and Ilya are still hosting J.J. after a dinner party when J.J. bemoans his wasted efforts in trying to find Shane a man. Shane fills J.J. in on some of his encounters while Ilya watches them from the kitchen. Things spiral.

"Good, right?"
"Always good." Shane moved to place the joint back on the small tray, then tried shuffling back to where he was sitting. All the twisting to reach the table repositioned him so he was right on J.J.'s lap.
He doesn't try to scoot back at all, instead settling for making himself comfortable so he can straddle him.
"Hi," Shane whispered.
"Hi." J.J. ran a hand down Shane's back, and enjoyed the shudder that followed.

His hair's longer than he usually kept it. Not by design, it just hadn't gotten cut and now it curled a little at the back of his neck and that was different enough to maybe matter. He's in a dark t-shirt and jeans. No hat, no jersey. Nothing with a name on it.
He looks like himself with uncomfortable contacts and slightly overgrown hair.
He turns off the bathroom light.
Troy visits Montreal while Cup celebrations are in full swing, hoping the business of the city is enough to provide cover while he meets up with a guy from an app. Only the guy doesn't show, and who takes his place happens to be no other than J.J. Boiziau.
