Louis’ head whips around and the blonde boy is back, behind a closer tree, looking at the other with caution and bewilderment. Louis raises a brow in confusion.
“You’re incredibly close but I doubt I’m the person you’re referring to.” He says against the tree, finally able to get a look at his swelling ankle now that the sun is shining through the passing clouds.
“Yeah, me too.” The boy whispers. “You’re hurt..”
It’s not until then does Louis realize the boys accent is Irish. What is he doing here? How is he not freezing? Louis looks down at his purpling ankle and nods, side glancing the Irishman.
“Gee, you’re perceptive.”
