Lan Xichen once jokingly repeated Wei Wuxian's words regarding the absence of his sword.
However today, Looking at the young man who's lying unconscious on the bed — Lan Xichen realized:
Others can really do something, when Wei Wuxian has no clothes on!
...And this "others" referred to himself.

Lan Wangji's breath catches in his throat at that, and Wei Wuxian grins. He stands again, right in Lan Wangji's space, and slides his arms around his shoulders, dropping feather-light kisses down the long column of his neck.
"You said it would have to be someone you trust," Wei Wuxian says, his lips moving against Lan Wangji's neck as he speaks. "Someone who could see you vulnerable." He pauses, then, "Why not Lan Xichen?"
