Summary
It was actually my father’s idea for us to use the cottage. It’s been in the family forever; a little whitewashed eighteenth-century farmhouse with a bright yellow door and a view of the sea.
I know my father has considered selling the house on more than one occasion, but I’m glad he hasn’t. A weight lifted from Simon’s shoulders when I told him we didn’t have to do Christmas at the Manor. He finds Christmas Day particularly difficult.
We all do.

Summary
Simon and Baz explore the festive market on London’s south bank, unknowingly both seeking the perfect Christmas present for the other.
“Simon’s face must ache from the amount of times it keeps stretching into the most ludicrous, goofy, beautiful grin I’ve ever seen. It isn’t the first time I’ve been compelled to kiss it off his sweet pink lips, and I sincerely doubt it will be the last, but for now I keep to myself and settle into the compromise of his gloved hand in mine.”
Featured at the end is a gorgeous piece that accompanied my writing in the zine by the lovely Jeska - also known as penpanoly on Tumblr, so please check out her blog! I don't know how links work here.

Summary
Should old acquaintance be forgot?
Individuals affected by this tricky spell will lose all memories of one another, with the sole exception being the seconds approaching and following midnight on New Year’s Eve. Victims will be forever drawn to one another, doomed to spend each and every New Year’s Eve together. There is no counter spell. (Rumour has it that the spell can be reversed with a kiss, but this is not common knowledge.)A love story that no one remembers but is also impossible to forget, told from new year to new year.
