(Previously Titled: Tell Me Not That I am Too Late)
Daniel 'Danny' Swan was Bella's twin brother, and having been born within two minutes of each other, neither one really cared who was first and technically 'oldest'.
Bella certainly acted like the oldest though, and when she had asked Danny to come with her in her self ascribed exile to Forks, Washington to live with their father, Charlie Swan, Danny didn't take much convincing. Forks wasn't so bad to Danny, despite the small school without a Track team and the library that was only useful if you needed to write a high school essay for your English Literature class.
Things in Forks start to sour though as Bella becomes increasingly wrapped up in Edward Cullen, and Danny gets dragged in.

Summary
Before Jason died; he had plenty of reminders that he was not Bruce's son. When he came back, unavenged and funeral unattended, he realized he wasn't even family to them. Realizing he didn't matter to them, he moves on instead of seeking revenge. Jason stays with the League, trains, and finally gains a true family in Damian. Now, after years in the League, his little brother wants to carry on his mantle as Robin. Jason refuses to let Damian meet the same fate as him. Jason establishes himself as Red Hood to have a presence in Gotham, and Damian establishes himself in Wayne Manor. As Red Hood and the bats clash, Damian finds himself struggling to balance his two families. The bats will have to grapple with Damian and his issues, on top of his murderous brother. Meanwhile, Jason watches Damian become family to the same family he could never be accepted by and grapples with his place in Gotham.
As they go; both Jason and Damian will have wrestle with balancing their families: old and new, with their respective old and new identities, and the bats will have to wrestle with creating space for two people who were very jaded; people who remind them so much of their prior failures.

"Jasper's laughter died down as Mr Jefferson began his lesson (something about the revolution and Boston's tea and codified blah blah), but his smile stayed, and it made him look much less pained. Now, he looked like what he'd expected after meeting Alice Cullen, fun and witty. It comforted something in Johnny, and made him want to keep that smile in place, a worrying development.

Jonathan was aware that seeing dead people made him a freak, especially in a small town, most definitely in Forks. It was why he'd ended up there and undoubtedly why he'd end up leaving, but even a guy who can see the shadows of spirits in the corner of most rooms isn't used to seeing the dead doing classwork beside him.
It was just his luck that these particular dead people were invested in keeping him alive and, in the case of one Jasper Hale, maybe being a little more involved than that. -
