Summary
The Revolutionary Army is searching for a new ally and, through Sabo, makes contact with the Straw Hat Pirates, who begin acting as a chaotic but effective force against global injustice. After a series of missions and rising tension, Luffy defeats Kaido in Wano and becomes the Fifth Emperor, shifting the balance of the world.
Later, Sabo disappears during a mission in the Mariejois area and is put up for a black-market auction, forcing Luffy and the Revolutionary Army to carry out a joint rescue operation. Luffy manages to save him despite severe injuries, and it is revealed that he is suffering serious consequences from the events in Impel Down.
As a result, the Revolutionary Army and the Straw Hat Pirates form an unstable but powerful alliance, while the world balance begins to collapse under the pressure of the new forces.

Summary
Luffy wasn't Roger's child, and she wasn't a revolutionary, either. She was the granddaughter of a marine, grew up on an island in the middle of the weakest sea, and couldn't think anything through. She wasn't Ace, with his brash drive to prove himself, and she wasn't Sabo, with his wit, and she didn't have the snark of either of them. Still, though, she was larger than life in her own way.
Luffy smiled brighter than the sun, and her heart stretched to make enough room for anyone, and she only ever saw things for how they were. She had saved Ace when he needed her, and she never let Sabo live thinking he didn't have a family, and if there was anyone who could become the Pirate King, Shanks thought it would be her. Hopefully, Roger would be proud of the person he bet the future on.
Or: Luffy's now the older sibling, and a few things change because of it
