Summary

He returns to the tower a year later with Bucky hoping he can mend things with Tony and get their relationship back on track. “Huh,” Tony says as he stares down at them.
He bends down and picks the sunglasses up carefully. They’re in perfect condition, not a single scratch on them. Tony puts them on and pushes them up to rest in his hair even as he tries to ignore the chill that abruptly races down his spine.
“Must have slid the other way instead of off the side,” he mutters to himself as he resolutely ignores the fact that he knows that’s not true.
No need to make himself paranoid out here in the middle of the ocean.

Summary
The Winter Soldier could not be categorized as a known quantity in any situation. He was to be feared. However, those who were truly aware of the Winter Soldier, knew that the Soldier wasn't the real threat. Something was always aiding the Soldier to get into any locked door, any secured location, any encrypted program; or, conversely, to get out of any such situations. There was a true boogeyman to fear, and the Winter Soldier just followed in it's wake.

It's just Tony's luck that when he finally gives into his Mama's emotional blackmail to come back for Christmas this year, a blizzard hits, stranding him at the airport. It's also his luck that there aren't any rental cars left either. At this rate he might as well not even bothered coming at all for all the good it is doing him.
