FAQ:
Who is organising Midlink Week 2026 and the collection?
That would be @midlink-week-2026 on Tumblr! Please give us a follow so you can see all the amazing Midlink Week fan works that won't be on AO3 and check out our event details here.
How do I add my AO3 works to the collection?
When you post a new work, go to the Associations section. At the top is a box labelled 'Post to Collections / Challenges'. Please type 'Midlink Week 2026' into that box and select it when it shows up in the drop down menu. From there, you can post the fic as normal.
Why isn't my fic showing up in the collection?
This AO3 collection is moderated which means the collection moderators have to manually approve your work. This is so we can ensure they follow the rules and certain prompts aren't posted before the corresponding day. Depending on how busy the mods are, we might not be able to approve works straight away.
If I post late, can I still add my works to the Midlink Week 2026 collection?
Of course! Just make it clear that your work is associated with the event and which day/prompt it corresponds to. The only consequence of posting late is that you won't get to be included in the daily round-ups on our Tumblr.
How can I show my support to the fic writers of this event?
We want this event to be a moment of community connection, and that means you don't have to create anything to support the event. The best thing you can do for fic writers is leave kudos, supportive comments, and recommend their works to your friends or share it on social media (particularly Tumblr). Fic writing is a labour of love for our fandom communities, so writers are often more motivated to share their talent with the world when they know it will be appreciated 💚
