Rookie Kraglin is desperate for his gorgeous Centaurian captain to notice him, so he does what he can to be noticed. Coincidentally, what gets him noticed might possibly be traditional Centaurian mating rituals. This would all have been so much easier if Kraglin knew what those were before starting.
My take on the "Yondu's people have neat little mating rituals that other people don't" trope.

Bringing him back to his place doesn’t mean anything in particular. It was Satomi’s idea to get takeout in the first place, and even if the little apartment he crashes in for his business trips ain’t much, it’s still better than Satomi’s cheap little student one. Kyouji’s never been inside, of course, but he’s ‘walked’ Satomi back a few times, taken a look around the building.
Not that Satomi knows that. But what he doesn’t know can’t hurt him.
