Mob’s not the same kid anymore, Reigen thinks, as he parks at the designated lot by the entrance to the hiking trail. Mob smiles more now. Mob laughs a lot more now too, especially when they’re out with a bigger group for dinner or having an informal gathering at the office. Mob hasn’t stopped trying to improve. Mob hasn’t stopped trying to be better.
Four years later, Reigen and Mob return to Mt. Mud Boat.
