It’s not that Reigen doesn’t believe in ghosts and spirits and the like. ‘Seeing is believing’ is a view held by the close-minded man, and sure, sometimes (most times) he can’t see the offending spirit hounding his clients, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that they aren’t being affected and there isn’t anything to be affected by.
Seeing or not seeing, it doesn’t affect his ability to listen, to nod where appropriate, to give empathetic advice, and to throw some good salt and give epic massages of the century.
This ‘Spirit of Christmas’ though, is another matter entirely.
