Kassandra Ross isn't what you'd consider 'normal'. No, she's not one of those leather-clad heroines in those superhero stories, or a magnificent princess ready to start her life; but rather a college student buckling under the weight of her father's expectations.
With the anniversary of her older brother's death coming up, new friends arising, and a dwindling clock on her life; she isn't sure whether or not she has enough time left to figure out the ominous message that seems to be popping up in the most random of places. But she definitely knows that she has enough time to prove that her brother death was not a suicide.
No, she's not a leather-clad heroin- but she does have a mighty protective Demon on her side (due to a deal she unintentionally-intentionally made). No, she's not a magnificent princess- but she is ready to tell her father he's not the boss of her anymore.
