Summary
In an ideal world, it would've been Sasuke, Sakura and Naruto who were flung backwards for an accidental second chance. Instead, Naruto had Orochimaru and Kabuto along for the ride after a mishap during an autopsy.
If Naruto and Orochimaru were here, then logically Kabuto had also made the trip. Kabuto, neck deep in every single one of Danzō’s dirtiest secrets, along with Orochimaru who commenced his entry into the timeline by kicking its doors clean off their hinges. Two unhinged maniacs who were only holding it together because of the enforced house arrest and supervision. House arrest and supervision that no longer existed, in a timeline where they were the ones with advance knowledge.
What could possibly go wrong?

She remembered dying.
What she did not expect was, after what amounted to drowning in her own fluids at thirty-two years old, was instead of whatever made up the afterlife, she opened her eyes in a world both somehow familiar as well as altogether strange.
She’d been tired for a long time before she died. However she’d been granted a second life, she was never going to thank anyone for it, no matter how amazing or awful it ended up being. That said, if she ever met the reason she was sucked into the Naruto ‘verse, there would be much shin-kicking to be done.

Summary
The Fourth Shinobi War wasn't going well. Shinobi were dying right-left-and-center. Ono Toshiko had done what she could to avoid it - and failed.
Her little brother had a plan. A fail-safe. A seal attached to her heart, mind, and chakra network so that if his latest knuckle-headed scheme to fix their world failed, there would still be hope.
She agreed but prayed nonetheless that a miracle would occur and after the war was over Naruto would take the seal off of her.
She should have known better.
After all - if there were deities listening, they clearly had no mercy for a reincarnated soul. Especially not enough to *not* force her to do it all over again. Only in a new body, and a new time.
