Summary
The deity nods, looking a little shy, and Yuuta hesitantly takes another step forward. This time, the deity doesn’t retreat, and he takes another step until he’s close enough to reach out and touch.
For a long, long moment, they stand, facing each other. Up close, he can see how flawless his skin looks. His long, sweeping lashes. The pale pink on his cheeks that peek out from under the veil.
The regal, violet color that shines in his eyes.
Instead of death, he’s found a safe haven. Yuuta makes a solemn promise in his heart to worship this deity for the rest of his days, unconsciously wrapping chains around his own heart as he seals the promise within himself.

A slightly uneven path. Approximately 8 pounds missing from his left side. That’s all it took to mess with Toge’s center of gravity and cause him to fall face-first into the pavement.

Summary
Megumi was just trying to be a good friend and look out for Inumaki. Because that's what they were, friends and classmates and sometimes partners in battle and nothing more because he did not have a crush on him-
"You should get the cherry flavored cough drops."
He didn't startle easily, but his shoulders did tense in surprise. Of course one of them would follow him inside the store, he was a fool to think otherwise.
Or: Megumi finds out Inumaki feels under the weather and proceeds to try and take care of him at the end of the day.
