“I trusted you.” Bam knew he should stop, that he had strayed from the righteous anger of General Viole and into that heartbroken boy in his spiral, yet still, “When you told me that we would always be together, that you would stand with me even if it was us against the world, did you mean it?”
He couldn’t help it.
Did you ever mean it when you told me you loved me? You promised me forever then left me in pieces.
Countless times he had dreamed of finally confronting the source of his most torturous affliction. He imagined spitting back the poison Aguero left in his heart, or perhaps letting his righteous fury take over to admonish him for his sins. But faced with the reality of it, it all came crumbling down, and all he had to show was the bleeding heart that still yearned for Aguero.
Five years after Aguero betrayed FUG, he returned to the country as a prisoner of war. Bam confronts the person who once held his entire entire heart and shattered it to pieces, but it does not give him the closure he wanted.

“Khun Aguero Agnis will die in the next 48 hours at the hands of the one he loves the most,” reads the sky lantern. Everyone looks at Bam. No one dares to take a glimpse at Khun.
Bam hasn’t been able to dream and Khun hasn’t been able to sleep. After everything they’ve gone through, they refuse to let this be the one thing that forces them to part ways.
The 143rd floor is where people can place a curse on whoever they want by writing on a sky lantern.
