This year he was chosen to be the gala chair and host for the Bridgerton charity gala. The biggest social event in London every year.
His best mate and honorary brother James is bringing his new girl to the gala and along for a couples getaway week to the Bridgerton estate. No one is shocked more than Colin that his playboy friend is finally serious about a woman.
When he walks into the ballroom he is confused when he spots a young redhead hovering around his family's gala table. And even more confused when he shakes her hand and she is introduced as his best mate's new girl.

A giggle raced around the table, eyes darting between Colin’s presumably florid face and Michaela’s mischievous one.
“Roll, or kiss her for real and call it a nat twenty,” Genevieve muttered loud enough for everyone to hear, hoisting her wine glass with a smirk at Michaela, who lifted her eyebrows in consideration.
“I’ll allow it,” Michaela ruled, nodding her chin once firmly at Genevieve before turning to smile fetchingly for Colin. “Your move, horny bard.”
