Summary
Trying to be thoughtful, Miles opened the portal on a nearby roof instead of directly in Hobie’s apartment. He looked out over New London- grey as ever. The streets were always full of commuters, just like New York, and Mumbattan, and all of the different iterations. But there was a humming in the air, the thwum thwum thwum of helicopter blades. Miles looked around, felt his spidey sense tingle. Off to his right, he shot a web right into the camera of a small, black drone. It fell to the asphalt of the roof when Miles shot more into the propellors.
He had been to New London plenty but had never seen those before. And now that he was looking for them, they were everywhere.
Hobie had screwed up big time.Or; Miles is there for the aftermath of Hobie killing Prime Minister Osborn.

Summary
Miles sees Hobie multiple times a week. Hobie climbs in through his window, despite his mom telling all of Miles’ friends to knock on the front door. Hobie lets Miles wear his jackets and bundles him up in them on chilly nights. There’s at least one full sketchbook full of his face, his hair, his profile, his guitar, his thin, deft hands, everything. Hobie is one of his best friends, which is why it is horrible and terrible that Hobie has to see him like this, right now.
“You can’t be here twenty-four-seven, dude,” Miles says. “That look ain’t gonna work on me.”
“What if I want to?” His thumb, tracing Miles’ jaw. “Would you let me, if you could?”
Miles gets a nasty injury during a routine night as Spider-Man. It isn't a big deal until Hobie Brown climbs in through his window.

Summary
There was another Miles. He looked more harrowed, experienced, even, in a concerning way. It was unnerving, to say the least.
If he wasn’t in the middle of freaking the fuck out he would probably be babbling out witty jokes. Perhaps he’d just burst into hysterical laughter.
It would be a reasonable response to finding yourself in a dimension that was like yours but certainly not considering his dad was dead and his Uncle was alive and, oh, yeah, he was the goddamn Prowler!
OR.
What happens after fade to black and during Gwen going dimension to dimension to gather help for her crusade. What Miles experiences on Earth 42 and how different it is but also, how similar it is. Add some Punkflower to it too! -

Summary
Hobie smiles fully and the sides of his eyes crinkle and then he leans forward, the weight of his body resting somewhat sustainably on his hands. Every time Miles looks at Hobie he feels violently overwhelmed. He doesn’t know how to pull away and so he keeps getting caught on the other’s teeth and lips and the silver piercings decorating the landscape of his face.
