Summary
When recently discharged veteran Gumi’s truck breaks down in the dead-end desert town of Rust Creek, she expects nothing more than a temporary layover. Broke and stranded, she takes a dishwashing job at Meiko’s Corner Café to fund her vehicle repairs. But her plans for a quick exit are derailed when she meets Ia, a lonely server who slowly steals her heart.
