Summary
Tokyo isn’t that rainy, so why do Kuroo and Kenma keep getting caught in the rain?
Kuroo lets superstition and the signs from the universe guide all of his life decisions, from his career choice, to his love life, to what hobbies he partakes in.
The older he gets, the more it occurs to him that his best friend is really smart, and pretty attractive, and so funny, and overall would make a great partner, but the universe seems to think otherwise. Almost every time he considers the possibility of being with Kenma, they end up in the rain, a sign of bad luck.
The universe has never guided him wrong, but Kenma is just so- so everything. Maybe it was time for a little disobedience.

“Prairie gentian,” she said, carefully placing three into the vase, “It means calming or ease anxiety.”
It was like all of a sudden, everything that was picking away at my soul was all gone. Neither liquor nor my anti-anxiety medications actually worked this well. I wish they did. I wish I could bottle this, the feeling of his hand gently brushing my hair behind my ear, over and over as I curled into his arms. Maybe my problems went away, but in his arms, more accurately, I think that maybe he’ll fight them off for me.”
