Tokyo isn’t that rainy, so why do Kuroo and Kenma keep getting caught in the rain?
Kuroo lets superstition and the signs from the universe guide all of his life decisions, from his career choice, to his love life, to what hobbies he partakes in.
The older he gets, the more it occurs to him that his best friend is really smart, and pretty attractive, and so funny, and overall would make a great partner, but the universe seems to think otherwise. Almost every time he considers the possibility of being with Kenma, they end up in the rain, a sign of bad luck.
The universe has never guided him wrong, but Kenma is just so- so everything. Maybe it was time for a little disobedience.

Considering the fact that you’re reading Haikyuu fanfic, I assume you’re pretty familiar with therapy, but if not, for the sake of this story, it’s important to know that therapists often give ‘homework’ to patients in between sessions for them to complete.Half of this story is written through the POV of the therapist’s notes. The other half is getting to watch these two married idiots attempt to successfully complete their homework

Kuroo has a new girlfriend and Kenma swears that something is really off with her. His friends insist that he’s just being jealous- and maybe he is- but he still can’t shake the feeling that something is very wrong.
He even talks directly to Kuroo about it, but he also insists that he’s just being jealous. How many signs does he have to ignore before it the horrifying realization hits him? And how many more signs does it take Kuroo?
